By Linius Go To PostSweet, enjoy it! Will be definitely too big for me haha. But they simply look lovely.Main thing is you could hide it under a shirt sleeve. Don't think that's the case for a lot of G-Shocks!
There are a bunch of Casio octagonal case variants in the Edifice range, such as the EFS-S570D and the very understated EFR-S108D-1AVUEF. Those integrated bracelets add quite a bit to the lug to lug distance however, totalling at over 50mm if I'm not mistaken. Still kinda large, but much less so than a G-Shock. Much thinner so should fit under a shirt sleeve and they look quite dressy.
A new purchase for me.
I originally wanted to get the Murph but it didn't give me the fizz when I put it on my wrist and the lugs were preposterous.

Where's the wrist shot?
i went window shopping the other day and my wife had to drag me out of a store or i would've made a very costly mistake.
Probably for the best.
There are some exquisite pieces out there but how often are you going to wear them all? Nevah

By Perfect Blue Go To PostDo Swiss watches have any price differences when you’re buying them in Switzerland?they can be cheaper. no shipping or export taxes and low VAT but mostly no afaik.
Nomos Club Campus is actually very nice in person. Online it looks like a bloody kids watch. It's on my short list now.
By DiPro Go To PostAnybody pick up the Swatch x Omegas? People were going crazy over them.I’ll cop one when they make them available online, yeah.
So basically this falls under a category of luxury watch enthusiasts that don't buy luxury watches. You see that in other communities like when Porsche released the Cayenne as a staple to help them earn more revenue in order to keep the company afloat to produce cars like the 911. The car enthusiast community was very outspoken against it but the car buying community bought it in droves.

This popped up on my channel today and i thought I would give it a watch.
Thought this part of the video sounded familiar lol.
Looks like a knockoff of a knockoff.

I wish this wasn't so expensive (350USD) because the idea is neat (7,200 RPM redline, which matches my car):

I have a very cheap mechanical one-hander from Luch. Don't remember what I paid for it but it was less than 100eu. Won't tie in with your car though.
The 12 o'clock positioned at 8 o'clock would drive me up the fucking wall though.
By bacon Go To PostIs more expensive??Heaps more but yeah it's still their way of distinguishing themselves from other watch brands by using that single hand.

I found a MoonSwatch at a random dealer but the sucker was asking 750 for it. I said suck my dick and good luck homie. It doesn't help that it feels like a fisher price toy and kind of illegible.
By rossonero Go To PostI got a Bulova moon watch as a present. Damn, it looks good irl.Stunning watch. Wish it wasn't that big :(
Not my pic.
Considering the Tudor 1926 at 39 or 41mm with the white dial and blue hands on a leather strap. Might buy it in the next week while in Montreal.
Going to check out some others in that price range.

Scratched the glass of my tuna. Need to get that fixed because it gets the most wrist time.
I'm probably going to walk into a random shop tomorrow and pick up a CasiOak.

Guess it’ll have to wait and hope to get lucky when I’m back in Toronto
So I bought a neon accented CasiOak but in an attempt to remove the price tag, I pulled out the pin and several other parts. I was in the subway of all places. Hope that I have all the parts when I get home.
Edit:
Phew, crisis averted.

Bummed that watches in Italy are marked up unlike other luxury clothing/accessories.
Even after duty free it was slightly more expensive.

Went to the Tudor boutique and the sales associate put me on the list for the black Tudor Black Bay 36 with the beige leather strap. She said it’ll take a few months. Gives me time to think about it.
By reilo Go To PostBummed that watches in Italy are marked up unlike other luxury clothing/accessories.Was researching and the place to buy watches abroad is easily Japan, especially right now with the very weak yen.
