@Smokey. You gotta tell me, fam. What kind OC did you have on the 2080Ti for that score? I can't match it with +950mhz on the GDDR6.
Might be time that I really go in and flash my VBIOS for a 360w power limit, 290w definitely isn't breaking 15,400.

EVGA BIOS that raises power limit to 130%. +135/+600.
This is my actual gaming OC btw. I could probably go a lot harder on the memory side at least, for a benchmark OC.

I've been tweaking my rig and looking at rig builds on youtube heavy, lately.

No that's just an armband.
Do move controllers work alongside bluetooth controllers on mac and pcs?
Im looking for a way to be able get work done without having to sit and stare at a computer screen. Imagine double clicking something using the x button, using the touchpad as an actual touchpad, and launching appa from your bed.

Looks like my 5ghz OC is stable at 1.3v. Upped my Load Line Calibration to 8, so the chip is getting a consistent 1.3v, with no vdroop. Ran multiple Cinebench tests, Aida64 runs, and played Warzone tonight for a few hours. No crashes, and locked at 5ghz. Temps never broke 65c when gaming and rad fans running at 900 rpms. Idles around ~38c.
Pretty satisfied with the voltage and temps.

what don't you like about amd? just curious

We might be waiting awhile lol, but I hear you.

I've never gone AMD, but just as someone who enjoys the hobby, there just always seems to be something with them that maybe doesn't stop the product from working, but just enough to annoy you over time.

I have gone AMD, but I agree with Smokey on that one. Despite the issues I had with Ryzen 1000 as an early adopter though, I would go AMD again in the future if they put out the right product for me.
AMD GPUs though would have to be flawless to win me over though.
Really not a fan of this style of NUC fuckery, but I'm looking forward to seeing the cases for it repurposed for SFF PCs.
Understandably, it took the piss for these silicone rings to get delivered, but my Model O- is now back to normal. Bonus for the scroll wheel matching the paracord now.
By HonestVapes Go To PostIt's not a gaming PC by any means (integrated graphics only), but the NUC I got a few years ago is more than enough for desktop stuff and even dev work and it uses this completely passively cooled case:

Tiny as fuck and actually cools much better than the active cooling from the original case.
Also use that last pic as a reminder to clean your damn mouse. Mine was looking damn disgusting there. Just got the brushes out and unearthed things I never wanted to unearth out of all those holes in the shell.

Thicker rad, isn't it? 37mm vs the standard 27mm/30mm of most AIOs.
I believe the "LT" series OEM Asetek AIOs use a 37mm rad too, but they cost more than the Arctic and are a bit harder to find for sale. All the brands seem to use the LS models with a thinner rad for some reason though, can also guess it's a compatibility thing.

Yeah, but it's quieter, has no RGB, cheaper, has a working VRM fan, and non-ASETEK (!).

This was a personal favourite, especially for such an inexpensive case, thought the full build looked great.

EVGA announced a 2070 Super KO and 2080 Super KO out of fucking nowhere.
Edit: Announced a week ago, only just found out about them. Weird it flew under my radar for so long.

What a GPU. Bought it used at the perfect time, when people were offloading theirs in favour of the 20XX series, a proper bargain.
Think I only spend 150€ or so net after selling my 1080. 18+ months later and the price on the used market still holds.
The R3 3300X looks like a killer CPU at 120$, would be perfect for my eventual VR rig, paired with a mini ITX B550 board.
I've seen mentions of a 1200AF too for $50 or $60. Same deal as the 1600AF, Zen 1 CPU on 12nm.
Good shit for budget builds. Which these kinds of CPUs at these price points were kicking around in 2016.

How's that working out btw?
Anyone know of any good wireless mice? I have a logitech g603 which was fine, but now double clicks often and apparently that's an issue with the omron switches. At first it was slightly annoying but not too bad as it didn't occur often but now it is and even just browsing is a pain in the ass. I don't even play CS right now because so many times I would damage myself or my teammates with an accidental molly or nade.
I really don't want to go wired but if I do I'll get a Zowie.

G305, G Pro Wireless, Razer’s wireless Viper is supposedly really good too, on par with Logitech’s wireless.
Alternatively just get any wired mouse and a paracord cable for it because that shit feels wireless 99% of the time to me.
