I may have posted this already but how did spiderman not know his friend was in the room when he got back?
By Kidjr Go To PostI may have posted this already but how did spiderman not know his friend was in the room when he got back? You are talking about a movie where Spider-Man's date for the prom happens to be the daughter of the villain. The movie just wants you to not think about things and just look at the pretty lights on the screen.
By Diego! Go To PostSpiderman was more like shit inspector gadget man. Bring back Sam Raimi
Raimi’s movies were dog shit
Last day of Bladerunner here in Belgium, going for a third screening in IMAX. Then off to a Halloween party as old Deckard.

Spidey 2 is one of the very best superhero films around. One of the only ones out of what must be around a hundred now that isn't just total disposable fluff.
Watched Homecoming like 2 weeks ago and I didnt really find anything very memorable.
Not to say that it was bad but I was not very captivated or super invested in anything going on.
Spiderman 2 by Raimi>>>>>>>>>>>>
These Marvel movies just roll off the conveyer belt, no personality, no charm, no driving vision, just merchandising and connecting each film to one another so they can make more Avengers movies.

Raimi films are better than most these other superhero films just for casting JK Simmons as Jonah Jameson.
By Laboured Go To PostFinally got round to watching Free Fire and that was fucking great.
Yeah i thought it was quality. Acting was great and the sense of mayhem was so well captured.
When a film makes Sharlto Copley good its doing something right.

Nah it’s fluff that set the template for cape movies.
Logan, Hellboy, and Batman Begins are the only ones that are not fluff
By LFMartins86 Go To PostI am actually excited about the new Hellboy because David Harbour is such a cool guy.
I hope they get dark with it
I haven't seen Hollywood try to shove a 5'6 actor like Holland down my throat like this since Shia Labeouf back in the mid-2000s.
Ehrlich is of the believe that Dunkirk is the obvious favorite to win Best Picture. If that happens I'm gonna flip a shit. It's barely a movie.
By DY_nasty Go To Postbut i didn't know it was cool to hate on holland. he's probably the best spiderman
Best Spidey and best Peter Parker
Did we ever talk about Justin Lin returning to Fast and Furious?
I love Lin's direction in this series, but there's some real problems they have to address with the script to get me back on board. Fate falls so flat for me because of how deathly serious it is and because I just don't buy that they'd ever work with the guy that killed Han. I think they need to strip some stuff back (they won't) to get it back on track. Less Rock, no Statham, give somebody else that work that Brian used to do to keep the mood light. Fast 9 can't just be all grim and brooding Dom stuff again, it just can't.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostYeah, it was announced a few months ago.It was only confirmed a few days ago!
I don't envy the task that F. Gary Gray had on Fate, but they needed somebody back in the director's chair that understood the franchise and could actually have the ability to tell Vin no, which I think is why Furious 7 and Fate suffer a lot compared to previous entries. Without Paul and without a headstrong director comfortable in the action space, that's what you get.
By rodeoclown Go To PostDid we ever talk about Justin Lin returning to Fast and Furious?Didnt they announce that the rock and statham are going to be the focus of the series going forward? Or maybe thats a spinoff? I know Tyrese is probably out of the franchise due to the beef he and the Rock have.

I just don't really know what The Rock really brings to these besides a name to put on the poster and the way they have to shoot him to work around how much the rest of the cast dislikes him is distracting. (That end scene in Fate is high comedy when it looks like Rocky isn't even at the same dinner as everyone else.)
By reilo Go To PostDidn't realize there were Tyrese quitting F&F rumors to go along with our discussion:
Bruh it seems like he's close to quitting life :(

By Freewheelin Go To PostWait is it not similar to the Jungle Book remake they had recently?Yes, it is just like that one. It's live action with CGI.
