By L1NETT Go To Postneil maskell should be in more thingsI half expect him to be the new Lara Croft.
By toku Go To PostBad Boys looking better than expected. Those shootouts look fun.which makes martin's stroke voice more unfortunate.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostHe looks fatter in some scenes than he does in othershe lost weight for the role but then it postponed so he said fuck it

problem is bar a couple of projects he always gets cast as a wheezy football hardnut
speak of wheats
In Fabric - Peter Strickland is a bizzare mind meander that i would recommend heartily
(for those who enjoyed berberian sound studio and inside no 9/garth marenghi sorta bits)
...a movie that includes a scene in which a young man, enraged with a god that may or may have forsaken him, points his assault rifle in the air and shoots it repeatedly into the sky, like Keanu Reeves in Point Break.
so law abiding
WHOOPS.
A Multnomah County grand jury indicted Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson and five other men on a felony riot charge in connection with a brawl outside a Northeast Portland bar on May Day, the district attorney's office announced on Thursday.
WHOOPS.
Well, Burning was brilliant. Some truly exquisite filmmaking in there. Glad I went in blind. Immaculate performance by Steven Yeun.
Hot take: No white celebrity NOT trying to dehumanize every other race should be "cancelled," despite the airheaded creative decisions
They'll get the hang of it eventually. People with power have to learn in order to fix things. That requires them to make mistakes and fumble around a bit

I liked that movie a lot but if Apple thinks me and the 10 other people who'd be interested in the extended cut is going to sign up for Apple TV just because of that, they must be on that tea

My breh
I need to talk to someone about inside no 9
I cant stop rewatching episodes. What a show
By data Go To PostIs there any movie that does practical effects better than The Thing? The prequel could have challenged it but the fucking studio had to interfere and force them to remake every scene with CGI.
I've been watching a bunch of videos from the Good Bad Flicks and it is a shame so many movies that had a chance to be great until the studio decided to fuck it all in the end.
The Thing prequel, The Crow City Of Angels, Blair Witch 2, they all were much better movies before studios messed them up.

12 days of christine is my personal highlight
crpytic crossword one, to have and hold and the call centre (bar final shots) spring to mind
tremendous programming
Idk I got half way through the second ep. of Inside No 9 and wondered if I was wasting my time. I was just getting extreme BBC2 9pm vibes from it.

Love the second ep of it, but give it another shot. Lot of dark, harrowing episodes that show what its capable of. Try S2 E2, S4E2+4.
recently watched the big lebowski for the first time. incredible film.
i think i'll do a rewatch of Friday next. classic.

The Joker winning a prestigious festival award and Adam Sandler being talked as a possible Oscar nominee.
What a crazy year for movies.

Just watched Venom. Pretty good, better than a lot of the Marvel films. Why was it so hated by the critics?
Rewatched One flew over the Cuckoo's nest tonight, fantastic film. Nicholson used to be so magnetic :(
I watched Aquaman the other night. I thought it was mostly ok, but was just too long. Should've cut the entire Black Manta plotline and kept it for the sequal. The Atlantean Civil War plot was good though. Too much CGI and focus on Amber Heard. Just let Momoa do his thing.
Watched House (1986). Figured it would be some sort of low key, psychological horror about a haunted house like The Shining.
