If I were to be brutally honest a lot of the parts of Tarantino films just feel like you're watching people jerk each other off.
I watched Jackie Brown the other night and there's a bunch of Bridget Fonda's feet as masturbatory material that's for sure.
I love the way the Cenobytes in Hellraiser talk. Mother fuckers sound like the ghost from Aqua Teen
'I want to hear him confess then maybe
MAYBEEEE'

There need to be more comic book films that just land you in the shit and are non-linear and non-rigin stories. Sick to death of "i dunno if i want to use my powers", "i'm scared", "with great power comes great responsibility."
Then *uses their powers and becomes strong and fearless.*
Origin angst blows.

They are trying to set up a trilogy with this one. Of course it won't happen as this has major flop written all over with a 200M$ budget.
By toku Go To Postnostalgia wave is gonna die in the 2020swhen has it ever died.
They are trying to push this new reboot out ASAP because both Linda and Arnie are getting up there in age, but without them there isn't really a draw because those two are so iconic to that franchise. It's clear that they have replacements in mind for the next sequel just in this trailer alone, but that's the double-edged sword of nostalgia: everyone is clamoring for Arnie and Linda, not this new cast.
I wonder how the MCU will fare ten to twenty years from now when the original cast has completely hung up their capes? Chris Evans and RDJ are already done with their roles. What happens when Disney re-introduces Captain and Iron Man with new actors -- who might be great at their role -- but nobody gives a shit because nostalgia will always associate them with Evans and RDJ?
By then everything will be Disney, no other studios will exist and the cult mentality will be fully integrated in the minds of most moviegoers.

They'll have a whole new generation of their target market fanbase by then.
Can't wait for Disney to get the rights for Harry Potter. The Star Wars X Marvel X Harry Potter movies will be insane.
Watching the Star Wars Prequels for the first time (well I saw Phantom Menace in '99). Why did they make these? What story needed to be told? Can't imagine what people must've felt walking out of the cinema after Attack of the Clones.
It’s weird, because I saw TPM when I was five or six. Loved it, obviously. Even now, I still have a teensy bit of a soft spot for it. Pod race, Maul, Qui-Gon...
But I was eight when AOTC came out. And I distinctly remember leaving the cinema at EIGHT and thinking that was a shit film. And I fucking watched anything.

The worst part about he prequels is that Lucas felt he needed to insert his shitty futuristic tech ideas in the digital remasters of the originals because he was getting so much heat. People can shit on Disney all they want, but Lucas didn't do the brand any favors himself after the original three.
By Not Go To PostAre you guys talking about the RT Fresh film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Cloneslol fucking hell
That video of the reaction to the rough-cut first screening of TPM is endlessly fascinating. A proper study in how people act when they've followed someone's terrible vision and the shit is about to hit the fan, but it's too late to turn back.
Prequels had some sick art design tho
I still think Droidekas and Clone Troopers look way cooler than the fucking Donald Duck Stormtroopers

John Travoltas latest film directed by Fred Durst has bombed

I only just realised that Fred Durst has become a film director. Apparently he likes the cameras to keep rolling, rolling, rolling.
