Thanks to your team's efforts, the Yankees once again have the second best record in baseball
...and it doesn't matter because they're 9.5 games back of Boston.
Both Jays starting pitcher and catcher and getting their Major League debuts tonight. Danny Jansen (C) and Sean Reid-Foley (SP).
By Pac-12 Go To PostYankees are shit.we got this.
The season is shit.
Baseball is shit.
So J.A. Happ had another good outing for the Yankees tonight, refreshing considering that (almost) everyone else sucks right now. Good acquisition so far, better than the Sonny Gray trade last year.
That got me thinking about "where are they now" with your good friend and mine, Chasen Shreve. Shreve was traded to St. Louis (dumped, really) at the deadline and so far in 6 appearances with the Cardinals he has...
given up 1 fucking run
Jesus H Christ, where the fuck was that while you were wearing pinstripes. In New York, 1 run could happen on the first pitch.

No mention of Ben Zobrist’s sending off?
Dude argued with the ump and apparently told him “This is why we want an electronic strike zone”, lmao. Good for him.

I like Rizzo usually but his complete meltdown resulting in moving two decent relievers has destroyed our bullpen
It's not acceptable and starting to lean towards new blood in management. Reminds me of the Capitals. Same kind of team--quality regular seasons and disappointing post season results. Lots of coaching changes. Talent good on paper. A great GM in George McPhee gets let go. Few years later Caps chip after a decade of Nash era Phoenix Suns esque results.

Shit you're still sitting in your ivory tower from my point of view. We're just tossing paper tigers with our mid season signings. BP killing us again ...

They can't beat the damn Rays and Orioles.
Trailing 3-1, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded for the Yankees, nobody out.
Nobody scores.
Yankees dropped 3 of 4 at home to the fucking Tampa Bay Rays.

Wild card games are "fun," Smokey.
Yankees finally went 32 games above .500 after getting to 31 umpteen times. Thank you, Toronto.
And now for the bad news. Didi Gregorius got hurt, might be going to the DL.

Mets and Phillies recap of the Little League Classic
Very cool that Major League Baseball did this. They spent over $5 million renovating the field to do this during the Little League Playoffs.
The whole Mets rotation not starting went to sit with the Staten Island Little League team in the stands

Extra innings in Miami.
I don't know how the Yankees got out of that ninth. 1st and 3rd, nobody out. Chad Green struck one out, then intentionally walked Starlin Castro to load them up, then struck out another and got the third on a grounder. No runs scored.
1-1 going to the 10th.
The Yankees are playing 2 in Miami and then 4 in Baltimore, and you know they'll inexplicably lose at least 3 of these games.
