Bill Simmons did 3 joke predictions, one of which being Stanton and Judge combining for 150 homers.
I think that one's in play.

By Adam Go To PostWait Koko, how are you Nuggets and Red Sox fan?I started following baseball more closely with the 2004 Red Sox.
I started watching March Madness when Melo won it all with Syracuse.
Favorite NBA player at the time was Iverson. So when they were both at Denver I started watching them, being stucked with the Nuggets ever since.

Whoa. Interesting fandom path.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostI'm not sure this is an official thread.
Ok, now we're good.
Fixed.
Kole world!
Ohtani got his first too. Too many people down on him after his less-than-stellar spring.

Later on this year, but not today, I'll probably get some curious looks when I volunteer that I'm a fan of both the Dodgers and the Yankees.

AL/NL. Sure you can.
Dodgers came about in the 80s when I was first really getting into sports fandom and didn't want to jump on the Braves bandwagon (North Carolina, not having a team, had a lot of Braves fans). What drew me specifically to the Dodgers, who knows. Might have been the colors or that Lasorda sounded like Lasagna and reminded me of Garfield.
Yankees, two prong. The local (which was Greensboro) single A team was a longtime affiliate of the Yankees (though not anymore), and players such as Donnie Baseball and The Captain came through there. The other facet was they faced the Braves in 96 (and again in 99), by which time I had developed an intense loathing of them. Rooting for the Yankees in that first series kind of took, I guess. Oddly, that's the one piece of sports fandom that my dad and I have in common, which I didn't know before then.
By Fenderputty Go To PostOpening day … 4PM start time. Go fuck yourselves lol
Move east.

So the rest of the dodgers games can start at 10? Lol
Kersh seems shaky AF
By Perfect Blue Go To PostGod damn I hate the Yankees so much.
I actually wrote a diss track last year and was trying to record music for it so it could be put online. It's called "Fuck Mike Stanton".
The Dodgers are on pace to be the first team to never score a run in a season, and the Giants are going to be the first 162-0 team, scoring only 162 runs while doing it.
Boone, come get your mans.
(Betances gave up a homer and 4 stolen bases, including home, in the eighth.)

By Smokey Go To PostThe Yankees are back alrightJudge most likely shouldn't be batting 2nd.. Stanton and him were walked 5 times today as well lol
The fulsome praise ESPN has been giving the Yankees is nauseating.
Also, why are baseball's unwritten rules so bad/enigmatic?
Twins seem to be pissy for no real reason.

American baseball players could certainly stand to get over themselves a bit.
God forbid someone enjoy hitting a home run.
