By Fenderputty Go To PostTotally random, but I can't see Boyle and not think of Men in Black 2.She got at least one plastic surgery and different procedures, I doubt you would recognize her.
Just google her :P
Ohh fuck, man. That ruined everything. She was so hot in MIB2 too. I normally don't dig skinny girls either.
No one liked Donna or James, they were both terrible
John Justice Wheeler has to come back. He's Richards father

how incredible was the whole diner scene
the brilliant shots, the sounds, the acting. Went from sad, annoyed, confused, scared, etc.
bobby is great

By pilonv1 Go To PostBiggest thing for me is who Becky's husband was with in the stairwellGersten Hayward.
Donna's little sister.
Was already played by Alicia Witt in the original S1 or S2 (can't renember), and she was credited with the role in S3 again.
She played the piano during the dinner where Leland started to sing.
I knew who she was, just blew my mind that she's become a harlot
Almost finished Secret History of Twin Peaks, about 50 pages to go. It's really good except for the error about Norma's mother dying.

There's been a lot of that this season. Also, after everyone being pretty sure last week that Cooper was close to being back, he's in this week's episode for like 10 seconds. Lol.
By Elchele Go To PostBTW, did Audrey say she is fucking her own son?
Her son's name is Richard and I believe she speaks to her cuck husband Charlie about the dude she's fucking "billy". We have no clue who Billy is or why we should care in relation to this story.
I found the episode to be OK, not great or bad but sprinkled with moments of each. One thing I consistently dislike is the Jacoby scenes. Absolutely useless as they're all carbon copies of the previous one. I also didn't like the 5 second Dougie spot. The lack of cooper is really growing old.
While I do find that much of this season fills like filler (hello musical performance on a weekly basis), I found the drawn out scenes in this episode to be enjoyable. The french lady scene was super drawn out and I was definitely annoyed, but I pictured Albert feeling the same way and then kinda giggled. I thought the Audrey scene was contextless, but didn't care. That scene will eventually have context, and I enjoyed her interactions with her sham husband and learning a little about where she is now after 25 years. We actually got some meat too considering Diane / Las Vegas and the Blue Rose.
Like I found the drawn out sections of episode 8 to be less enjoyable than these recent ones.
I liked the episode, but I've reached a point now where there's now now amount of actual Dale Cooper that can make up for the amount of Dougie Jones I've had to sit through. Even if doop wants Dougie killed to stop Dale from coming back and this is the major point of the season ... I'll still be disappointed.
The Big Ed sighting was cool. They seemed to spend a lot of time regarding his distrust / dislike of Norma's new business partner. Curious what that has to do with anything if anything at all.
I'm not sure I'm fully on board the "Audrey is still in a coma" theory, mostly because that seems to conflict with the "Richard Horne is doops rape baby" theory that I'm also not sure I'm on board with now either.
James song at the end was the best musical performance on the show so far. It was at least funny and not a total waste of screen time.

I hate Lynch
I enjoyed James singing again in an ironic way
I'm definitely not Reading/watching that stupid German flight leak of the next episode but I guess it's supposed to be a doozy???!!!?!?!!!!?!!
Also I've been starting to think that Norma scene might have been about the pie more than anything.

She specifically mentioned her fresh ingredients separating them from the rest of the expanding franchise
Median amount of MacLachlan per episode: 50%. He's either in all of it or virtually none of it.
Lowkey standout scene from last night: the jail. So unsettling. Lynch is a master of sound design.

By KingGondo Go To PostThat was a great episode. I finally feel like things are coming together.
Yeah. It's so random how it's coming together too. Including glove boy and the fireman choosing Andy.
I'm thinking that frog moth thing that crawled into a young girls mouth during the nuke test is actually Sarah Palmer.
By Fenderputty Go To PostI'm thinking that frog moth thing that crawled into a young girls mouth during the nuke test is actually Sarah Palmer.Yeah I've seen people speculating the same thing
Not sure, but it's exciting.
A lot of fucked up scenes, crazy sounds. The whole scene in jail was unreal haha

At the very beginning of the series, I think it was the giant, said to cooper, "remember this sound" as it played on that old school record player.
I think that's the sound that keeps repeating near Sarah. That loop when she watched TV and then again last night when she was in the cell. The age / timeline things works out too. The moth/frog thing was also sent as a golden orb by the giant so I'm assuming it was sent as a yin to Bob's yang. Laura Palmer being the offspring of this orb/frog/moth. They also said in season one that only the damned or the gifted can see Bob, so it's clear there's something more to Sarah. Last night confirmed this with the face pull things but who the fucks knows ..
That weird sounds we hear in Hornes office repeat last night too.
I've been reading up on this and I'm confused, so maybe there are other thoughts on this here. I'm trying to figure out the white lodge and the black lodge and what we've scene to date. If they all went to the white lodge last night (where Andy was chosen as the purely good figure), then are the Giant and the Firefighter different characters? Are they one and the same and he can go between the two?
Also how the hell did that girls with scars for eyes end up in the real world after being flung out into space helping coop in episode three?
I don't know how people remember half this shit. It's so fucking dense and everything means something
The theory that Coop is returning next episode requires some great memory too. The numbers on the socket he gets sucked through displays the numbers 3 and 15. Episode 3 is where that happens and where he escapes the lodge. People are assuming episode 15 is when he comes back. The key to his old room is room 315 too.
By KingGondo Go To PostChrysta Bell's hotness was like the 8th best thing about that episode, which is saying something.
She's so fucking hot
Monica Belucci looking good in her old age was a nice cameo too.
Also, last night might be the first non ironic musical performance I liked

I've like 6 or so of the ending musical performances
