Bought resistance bands because I've been in forced quarantine for a month (first I was positive, then my mom).
Game changer, I'm never going back to the gym again well, until spring atleast

"So you got a little extra weight." Points to a skinny guy in the gym, "That guy's fucked. There are millions of guys who would kill to look like you." Oldheads really do always know what to say
Felt confident enough to post my first ever shirtless picture on social media. I'm still very puffy but y'know got the gains and shif
So since I haven't had to leave my house I've worked out every day for 45-60 minutes since May 1st, started fasting every Saturday, and relegated alcohol consumption to Thursdays and Sundays. Didn't stop eating sugar and carbs tho, seems like that's the trick
Got a defined upper torso and less body fat but the waist and lower back is uh could be better

I would cut sugar first . Not try to cut sugar and carbs. You'll likely just cave if you try to go that extreme
You gotta still enjoy what you eat

been a minute since i looked at myself in the mirror and didn't like what i saw. holiday food, a 2 week break to end the year, and another 2 weeks off now because of COVID got me looking soft lol
Fouaid abiad talking about 1.5 grams of protein per body weight bro come on 😵I can't handle that much protein in a day
You really don't need that much. Made my best gains not worrying about it that much and got my protein from natural sources. Unless you are on gear then sure it would make sense to supplement.
Man I don't even look that good but sometimes you get yourself in the mirror in the right fitting shirt and it you immediately forget what you were depressed about
Finally started my cut. I'm at 226 right now. Gonna see what I look like at 190. May have to cut lower than that.
Been getting back to running. Running 1 mile in the low 7’s at 3000ft elevation. Want to get that down to the low 6’s.

Nice. You'll probably find you'll get back to whatever conditioning you had relatively quickly.
I started cycling again after a few months break, because COVID got me bored with too much free time that I took on another job out of hours. Worried that I wouldn't have the conditioning to do my usual distance of around 40 miles.
Nope man's legs and lungs are still up to the task. Just wish the weather wasn't trash 90% of the time. A little bit of rain and all the rivers burst their banks at 100 different places, so a lot of the country road routes are fucked for cycling atm. Can't take the bridle-paths or trails because they're slicker than baby shit.
By Facism Go To PostNice. You'll probably find you'll get back to whatever conditioning you had relatively quickly. The weather really has been terrible for running here lately. Winds over 20mph have me pushing the abort button. Even 10mph is a struggle for me.

Get in lad
By domino Go To Postfor my peeps that have tried it, how much weight did yall put on w/ CreatineI like creatine, but people do exaggerate how much it bloats your muscles lol. hard to tell how much is really the creatine since I usually only take it when I'm working out seriously, but the weight gain is pretty rapid so it definitely accounts for something. I'm thin enough that 5 pounds of water into my muscles is pretty noticeable (at least to me).

body fat percentage is what

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postbody fat percentage is whatIt's gone down. Before I'd just eat junk food all the time. The whole milk fills me up and my body makes better use of it so I'm not having the cravins as badly. Never felt 'full' after a protein shake when I Was doing 2% or FF
By Blue Go To PostGot my mile under 7 mins. 😭Great job, mate - keep it going!
By batong_skating Go To PostGreat job, mate - keep it going!6.58 seems to be what I get consistently. I’m dead tired at the end. How the hell do people get 4 or 5 mins? There’s levels to this. Need some of that HGH Tom Brady, Lebron and Pacquiao on.
I actually started lifting in 11s specifically because of him. The same things I hate about trying to play ball in them (blocky base, not much flex) actually make them really good to me for squat/deadlift shoes.
dude's gym is sick as shit too

Really taking this lockdown to get better at my breath holds and increasing my tolerance to lack of oxygen and more co2. Definitely helping me in my runs for endurance.

have you tried intermittent fasting? i heard rhonda pattrick say it helps with her endurance. think she fasts for 15 hours a day.
Not sure I have that strong of a mentality for it tbh Bud haha.
Also, to clarify, breath holds are on the exhalation.

can you link something that describes your process? Would help my cycling when i'm out for 6+ hours lol
By bud Go To Posthave you tried intermittent fasting? i heard rhonda pattrick say it helps with her endurance. think she fasts for 15 hours a day.
I'm intermittently fasting again. 5 days a week i'm 16/8, with the occasional 24 hour and reset. just broke 17 hours today with a bowl of bulgur and chicken, loads of garlic, some onions, chopped chilis, the usual ground pepper, oregano and Himalayan salt. So filling and will slide out in the morning like a deep-black bar of gold from Fort Knox.
Breathing is a problem for me when I attempt to run for a PR on the mile run but not a problem on the 3 mile run because I jog at slow pace. Anyone know how to improve cardio for the mile run?
By Facism Go To Postcan you link something that describes your process? Would help my cycling when i'm out for 6+ hours lolSame guy has some exercises (depending on your own BOLT score system that he created), and the book/resistance on your diaphragm is an interesting one. Had a long session with a yoga teacher recently and got a classic day after burning sensation a la gym as well on that one. Muscle is still a muscle lol. And blue it might help you with your anaerobic ability too.

Interesting. Holding breath to introduce more nitric oxide when you breath in thro nose. Will read more.
Lots of good tips in this video, honestly
Things I never thought about. Like when he's training deads he tends to go just above the knee because the lockout is just a hip thrust. Only occasionally does it to work on muscle memory and spends that energy on upper back exercises instead. And that he never finishes on low weights(not that it's that surprising that Eddie Hall doesn't pyramid but yknow)
