Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving under the influence.
He has been given so many chances and at this stage he's never going to change. He easily could have killed someone with this latest incident. He swore blind that he wasn't under the influence when he walked out on that WWE house show a while back. I don't think you can take him at his word anymore.

By Lupercal Go To PostDamn, Jeff just keeps fucking up.I mean, Matt keeps backing his brother up in spite of how many times Jeff has done stuff like this.
Where's Matt in all this, surely he must know what's going on.
It's honestly sad. Gotta think AEW fires him for this.
Fuck him. That's essentially 4 times the legal limit. With that much alcohol in his system He must have been approaching the stage where you pass out. And he got behind the wheel?
By Lupercal Go To PostTK will probably prefer if Jeff goes to rehab then to fire him I think, but we'll have to see.Jeff wont go. A big reason he left WWE is he claimed they wanted him to go to rehab when he stated he was sober

WWE has fucked itself over a bit with their booking of Roman Reigns. He's their biggest star, dual World Champion, beaten every viable challenger in the last 12 months and utterly dominated the majority of TV time. But now he's taking the summer off and only expected to appear on one Monday Night Raw; the Madison Square Garden event.
The booking of the world title scene during the last five years has been shit really. Brock was an absentee champion, it took years before fans actually accepted Reigns as legit, mostly because WWE kept taking the belt off him, and now this.

And I guess we're in a holding pattern until Cody is back or will they let Drew/Orton/Riddle take on off him in the meantime?
I think it's to early for Riddle when there's more "legit" contenders, even though he's beaten them all.

Now there's no one. They had to import Cody just because he was a name Roman hadn't beaten. And they brought Cody because of his status as an AEW guy not because he was a former WWE IC champion.

They had Drew then they had Roman beat Drew. They had Bobby then they had Roman beat Bobby. And part of his booking is that he wins DECISIVELY every time so there's no mystique. I said it from the start that its the new Reign of Terror. It's just that WWE has watered down their star power so badly in the last 2 decades that no one really cares that Roman's burying everyones faves.
Their only trick left is to pay Dean Ambrose a trillion dollars to come back and act like Dean wasn't muddled in the midcard when he was in the WWE and that he's on Roman's booking level.
If you've read his book, it's obvious Jon Moxley is never coming back to WWE. Dude was so depressed there and he's having the time of his life now just wrestling everywhere he wants.
The article alleges that Vince McMahon also coerced her into a sexual relationship with John Laurinatis.
I imagine there's probably many others too.

If you’re wealthy and working after your 50s the only logical reason is because you’re just trying to use your power and wealth on younger people
Average life span is 80 years so you’re like 60% there and you’re still working? Instead of enjoying the little time you have left?

Also Orton is out for the rest of the year probably.
WWE's main event scene is looking like a 205 Live event. Barren.

Gushing post incoming.
AJ Styles is the best wrestler of the last 20 years in any company. There's nobody in wrestling over that time period who could consistently pull off hyper athletic shit like this. What's even more impressive is how long his run at the very top lasted.
He essentially had two peaks. His athletic peak was around 2004/2005 when he ruled the X Division and had classics with Joe, Danielson, Petey Williams, Chris Sabin etc. He did things in the ring I'd never seen and still haven't seen to this day. He was the best wrestler in the world then.
His second peak was around 2014/15 in NJPW. He wasn't as athletic anymore, but his exposure to Japanese wrestling rounded out his skillset. He was hard hitting and high flying when he had to be. His matches had great flow and fans were fully invested. He has multiple 5* matches against Tanahashi, Okada, Ibushi and Suzuki. A decade after his athletic peak he was again the best wrestler in the world.
That peak carried on further when he moves to WWE. Gave Ambrose, Danielson and Reigns their best matches in the company to date and held the world title for like 15 months.

Ronda is not cut out for shitposting in the slightest. Her beliefs are too abhorrent and well known for her to get away with it.

Okada showed up on Dynamite
Hiromu and Shingo revealed as Darby and Sting's partner
Rey Fenix vs Andrade on Rampage
Dynamite's been pretty missable but Forbidden Door is looking top tier

Yeah, already ordered the PPV for sunday.
It's sad we need to miss out on Dragon vs ZSJr but the mystery opponent might surprise us. (Daniel Garcia?)

Forbidden Door will be a great PPV. But it's such a shame there's so many injuries. Punk, Omega and Danielson are 3 of AEWs top 5 wrestlers and none of them are fit to compete. Was really looking forward to Punk/Tanahashi and BD/ZSJ.
That's on top of Andrade being contractually ineligible to wrestler. AEW has a very deep roster however so I'm sure they'll be fine for this though.
I wonder if Danielson's choice might be a debuting Claudio Castagnoli?

I can’t wait for this Forbidden Door thing to be over it has taken all the steam out of the AEW plot lines. They need to go back to focusing on themselves instead of Tony playing Fire Pro fantasy booker
Heel Christian definitely gonna be some passive aggressive jabs at MJF
Aint that hard to generate cheap heat, Maxwellington.

How fucking stupid was the WWE roster in the 90s/00s that they held this imbecile up as the most intelligent man in the locker room?
Not watched Forbidden Door yet, but heard that the show was excellent even with so many great wrestlers missing through injury.
Did see this though. Never would have expected that one of the best things in wrestling right now would be a feud between a clown and Mr Ass's kids.

Forbidden Door was a top PPV. Every match delivering and then some.
OC vs Ospreay, 4 way for the IWGP Heavy Weight Title, Mox v Tanahashi & JAS vs Eddie, Shooter & Yuta standouts.

Well deserved for the bastard. Would've thought Miro would run away with it but he's going to get hit TNT title back.
Definitely view Pac's belt as the no 2 belt now since TNT's prestige has been ruined between Sammy, Dan Lambert, and Scorpio
Forbidden Door doing over 1 million $ in ticket sales and 5 million $ on PPV garantees a sequel. Hopefully next year in the Tokyo Dome.
Io has been injured a bit on NXT, but it still feels like WWE dropped the ball on her. She's the best women's wrestler in the world, but was never l called up to the main roster.
In case anyone hasn't seen this before; here's Ishii Vs Shibata at G1 Climax 23. It's the best short length wrestling match I've ever seen.
