Tales from the Territories is surprisingly enjoyable though I would have rather VICE just put it out as a podcast series. Not enough footage to justify it being a video.
This whole Punk/Elite fallout has just shown me that Tony Khan hasn't a clue how to be a manager. The fallout stemmed from stories about Punk demanding Cabana be fired. Punk denied that happened and so did Khan.
What probably happened is Khan deciding to stop booking Cabana as a way of stemming any potential issues that could have arisen with those two sharing a locker room. Cabana being dropped just fed more and more rumours about Punk wielding his influence. Khan could have nipped that in the bud with a proper statement. But he didn't. And things just got worse.
Cabana was essentially a non-entity in AEW even before Punk was signed. He barely appeared in TV. Khan elevating him to challenger for the RoH title is just him serving his own image. He fucked up.

I've been listening to Mox's book on Audible and he says , 'Tony is my boss but he just feels like my friend who likes wrestling'
Buddy we can tell.
Wasn't the story that Punk wanted Cabana gone, and it was the Bucks who ensured he stayed on and eventually got him re-signed and sent to ROH? In any case, it just makes the company look super low rent.
Also, why in the world would you bring in Jeff Jarrett as an actual on-screen performer in 2022? The backstage stuff, yeah, I get that, but they already have so many dudes dying to get TV time and now Tony is subjecting his audience to a J-E-double-F angle.

Probably a quick one off feud maybe? I doubt he'll be a mainstay and Darby will be stoked working with him.
Dude is having all his personal dream matches in AEW. Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, teaming with Stang.

By data Go To PostNo one has ever dreamt of working with Jeff JarrettHe's still a legend in the business, yeah I know he's a carny and all that but still, he can smash a guitar on my head.
Will never like Jarrett for his HHH esque reign of terror during early/mid 00's TNA. Kept a hold of that heavyweight title despite there being some white hot baby face challengers and the fans being utterly sick if his matches and promos. Getting that X-Pac go away heat.
Monty Brown and Chris Harris had their momentum utterly derailed by Jarrett having to go over. Only good thing Jarrett ever did as champion was dropping the belt to Styles.

Logan Paul is a genuine piece of shit. Utterly abhorrent human.
Unfortunately, he also appears to be an incredibly talented professional wrestler.

Full Gear is looking STACKED.
Hoping for a return of Wrestling God Bryan and him beating everyone for the title. Make him heel and just let him run wild.
Finally ending BCC vs JAS.

Takeshita is shit hot. Had a brilliant few months on tour in the US a while back.
I hope he's used correctly in AEW. He's a main event calibre talent. I hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Too man quality wrestlers have been left spinning their wheels recently. Khan needs fo figure out what he's doing.

So happy for Hayter, thought TK was going to cock it up but great result.
The convoluted had me worried a bit but it worked!
Great ppv all in all, MJF going off on the scrum afterwards was great.
