By Lunatic Go To PostRBR cheating?
Formula 1 and Cheating name a better duo
This is the thing that newer fans just don’t get about the sport. F1 is all about teams finding a way to bend to regulations and rules to their understanding.
I have no doubts that RB probably went over the budget cap, however, I expect they believe that many of the things shouldn’t count towards the cap or shouldn’t count in full etc etc. creative accounting perhaps.
Main thing I love about F1 is everyone is cheating. Lowkey wacky races
And it's raining.
By KP Go To PostThis is the thing that newer fans just don’t get about the sport. F1 is all about teams finding a way to bend to regulations and rules to their understanding.Furthermore, a team can make their own assessments of other team’s spending based on their own information and knowledge. Teams can also submit this information to the cost cap commission if they think that other teams aren’t within the cost cap spending. It’s the same principle as teams going to the FIA about rival team’s parts and saying that something about them is likely illegal and why they think that.

Yuki practicing good racecraft. You should always leave a gap.

F1 is all about teams finding a way to bend to regulations and rules to their understanding.precisely, every team will have their FCO & accountants trying to get things out of budget cap or as low as possible, that's why you pay them. And first few years there will be no doubt all kind of different interpretations presented to FIA accountants.

Wednesday is a report and the weekend before, two journalist drop a story and now we have wild weekend of speculation and opinions are being set before we know anything, it is so F1
Rain in Singapore and might be this way entire day
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostIs this FIA or F1?FIAt of course, FOM has nothing to do with it, rules issue.
If it is FIA then nothing will happen, they only like fucking over Ferrari.
But great write up by Dieter Rencken on what the issues are and why it is so complicated and will take years to fully sort its self out
Analysis: Is there any substance to the current cost cap controversy?
FP3:
wet in to drying, last 8/10 laps inters. Would say Ferrari favourite for pole, get temp in their tires easier than RBR and Mercedes is the worst of the 3. Fernando being Fernando and AM good again, but we have seen that before (fast wet FP3, slow in wet Q) and them falling away in Q.
There is rain around, might fall before Q, if not we will prob have dry (at least ending) q-session
Aston needed one more lap of heat in their tires, unless S3 is still to damp, but Q3 on slicks or one banker on inters?
By MF Coom Go To PostThat RB not looking plantedHave no idea how he landed that. Must have been on for an easy pole
Shanks can’t keep getting away with it

The p8 challenge tomorrow
Lewis slowing down to long? Tire temp
Sergio good one
Assume fuel, also few purple just before abort

By MF Coom Go To PostApparently Max had less fuel than one litre fuel left and had to abort the lap.He would get dcd if he didn't make it into the pits wouldn't he

Actually, I think that you have to start from the back of the grid if that happens.
Confirmed not enough fuel for Max, stupid error by RBR, also should have told him a lap earlier so he did not abort that previous lap to get best track conditions.
Before abort he asked about status battery, full enough, so dumb error RBR indeed

Yeah hard to say if it’s a mistake regarding the amount of fuel they decided on, or simply the communication by not correctly informing max on the amount of laps he can drive. First big mistake we’ve seen from RB in 2022 I guess. Luckily it happens at a point in the season where RB can allow themselves some space.

Hard to overtake here, but on the other hand SC galore and he does not really need the points, just finish top 5.
Full torrential rain right now, expected to be dry 45 mins before race, so prob wet start
Toto already mentioned it yesterday, so assume they new there was some issue during the weekend.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostIt is POURING down smh.Radar does not show more rain, so will be dry in about 10/15 mins.
How many hours until this race starts?
The problem is the amount of water on track and how long it will take before it dries out, guesswork right now.
