Charles had no chance against Max, so Ferrari needed to do something and George was no threat, so understand the gamble, needed help almost got it
George maximum again and Carlos top, Sergio plz
Lando top and Nyck megaaaa

By Linius Go To PostGreat stuff from De Vries really, no one saw this one comingin the jr series he was similar in pace to Alex, George and Lando, only Charles was just a little quicker. But always destroyed his tires on some tracks and in Pirelli age, that means no chance.
Guess he learned a thing or two in his endurance racing how to look after your car and tires, top Job!
Stadings, with some Ferrari shenanigans ans Sergio being Sergio, Max could be 2x WC in Singapore, but race after in Suzuka would be perfect spot.
Just watched the replay from lap 27 onwards as I fell asleep.
What a boring way to end the race. Could have been exciting
Anyways, max is relentless

Albin had respiratory failure and was intensive care. All good now thank goodness.

Classy tifossi. Fuck Ferrari
Haha, that is maybe the funniest thing I have ever seen posted in what I assume is a serious post.
But you never know, it might be real and the fan might have been that Real Madrid fan who threw shit at Gareth Bale.
Following surgery, Alex suffered with unexpected post-operative anaesthetic complications which led to respiratory failure, a known but uncommon complication. He was re-intubated and transferred to intensive care for support.
He made excellent progress overnight and was able to be removed from mechanical ventilation yesterday morning. He has now been transferred to a general ward and is expected to return home tomorrow. There were no other complications.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostNot enough races in Italy. You want to hear the Dutch anthem even more?? ... but one to many with so much demand around the world, nothing wrong with tracks.
24 to many anyway, 20 is for me the right number, better hope we do not see any domination from a single team. So with all that demand, ticket sale prices Silverstone last week were mad, do think we will see some tracks once every 2/3 years (if financial ok for the hosts, demands fia/fom).
Two triple headers:

Never heard it at an F1 race:))), except at the start of the Dutch GP.
One of the worst drivers I can remember. And I say remember because I am sure I won’t even remember him next year.
Time to knight the lad in the Order of Oranje, we will never forget ;) But yeah, always out of his debt, not dangerous, just not fast enough.
But wonder if Williams waited to long to sign for Nyck, now others seams interested. Not announcing him right away makes me think he might go somewhere else (AT/Alpine). Sargeant/Doohan as F2 jrs with a shot, Mick needs seat, Williams good enough for DannyRic/Hulk?

He has been good. Doesn’t deserve to lose his spot, but I don’t see him really being anything more than what he is now.

Carreer path so far opposite of Mick, now has to prove he is worth a seat in the remaining races and might be out. He just did his thing without big errors and slowly improved his pace. Bit unlucky he has this years Ferrrari pu that has so many technical probs and missed laps and dnfs.
MacRosa
never been a fan, short view in to what will happen the next day, resulting in less action (starts excluded)

RaceWeek: R17 Grand Prix van Singapore
Been 3 years we last had race here, the original and still my favourite night race. Wonder how bumpy the track still is, few places new tarmac, so probably not Baku bad. Should be Ferrari territory, high downforce/curbs and on this track pole is 1/2 the job. RBR has improved since we last had street tracks, but don't think they have a chance to make up non pole in the race (normally low deg, maybe new tarmac will change that), but can you really rule out Max?
Mercedes track lay-out should suit them, but softer tires and bumps/curbs not so much, but 100% SC record, so maybe with some luck finally a win?
Midfield, high downforce so Alonso/Norris and Haas did well earlier on in season on these type of tracks, so maybe Kevin q3. Seb likes this track , 53th and last win was in 2019, but don't think Aston likes the bumps to much.
Also last chance for most teams to bring something new, so expect lots of new stuff (confirmed so far, Alpine/McLaren/Aston)
Oh and thunderstorms in the area, so change on a hefty shower (Fri/Sun)

FP1 on a street track, not dark yet (FP2 will be more representable) so what tire (some meds midfield) and when (Lewis last one top after Stroll red) means a lot. But looks like the other high downforce tracks we had, Budapest/Zandvoort, 3 team close together.
Bumps do not look to bad, some are bit more aggressive on curbs than others. Charles had brake issue at start so he was bit behind the curve. RBR only top team doing some long-run in the end , Sergio laps cut short due to driveshaft issue.
Alonso looked best of rest'1st run session, don't think he used the soft tire. But as mentioned, FP2 sun will have gone down and be more representative for the teams. And just read Alonso had tech issue, so that's why no run on reds.
Oh and expect lots of talks about budget cap breaches, as FIA will report next week and some might have breached it (rumour AM/RBR)

interview Horner about budget cap 2021:
FP2:
Hard to read session due to lots of car related problems
- Carl;os no isssues, med/2 runs reds, fastest lap in 2 nd run and a long run after
- Charles, another delayed start, few laps meds and in the end 2 quick laps on reds, fastest 1 run
- Max single run hards, long work on car, just in time for one quick lap on reds in the end
- Checko floor issues late start. than mega wild lap on reds, almost hit walll twice before hitting it and long run reds
- Both Merc drivers, medium run followed by quick run on reds, both error 1st lap, so 2nd lap timed lap
Alpine looked ok again, no idea if they ran there new floor or not in FP2, will have to wit for reports
And more usual F! mud slinging politics about budget report published this Wednesday.
