Amazing end again, even though Carlos never had a chance, you could feel the pressure, although Max probably did not feel anything. Ferrari, with Sergio out gains in WDC and with all the VSC stops, Charles p5 maximum
Top race for Lewis and mr top 5 again top 5
Top Alpine and Alfa, Haas destroyed there own chances, with dumb 1st lap move and Ferrari PU error (again)
Lance in the points at home ;P

Felt Sainz had one real shot lap 69 (nice) was under 4 tenths back before the hairpin but made a mess of it and went too deep. Other than that complete control from Max.
Lewis and Max close after Max pit was giving me flash backs to all last season

Max learnt not to be a cunt.
I think Sainz was dropping back .3 to .4 in the hairpin every lap. Just wasn’t able to stick to the back of Max and then use the DRS.

the only news for me in last FormelSchmidt, was that Domenicali said that there was another manufacter willing to enter and it would be announced after summer, no mention of whom that might be.
All the Audi/Porsche stories are still the same and will not really change before the rules are set in stone. With Mateschnitz hoping it gets done before Spielberg, so they can announce the Porsche deal that weekend.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostMax learnt not to be a cunt.It helps that he doesn't actually have to race anyone as Ferrari continue to get in their own way.

Not surprising, he got a racist looking mouth.
RaceWeek and British update summer time at Silverstone.
Close to home for most teams and start of a 4 races in 5 weeks, so I do expect some updates, big or small, from most teams. Even though RBR won six in a row, pace picture for me is different and if Ferrari can iron out the DNFs and ignoring all possible updates for a min, I expect them, more precise Charles, on top. Like Barca this track should suit them better, although it has gotten a more high speed medium+ downforce track over the years (more and more once high speed corners, now flat-out), with the front-end of the car more important.
Can Mercedes with some updates spring a surprise and be really competitive, team seams to think so, on a less bumpier and high speed (corner) track. Would be nice to have George and Lewis in the mix at their home GP this weekend.
Midfield; Alpine made some steps in recent weeks, does a non "street" track work for them? Will all the updates change order in midfield, 3 tenths can shoot you to the top of it, or park you at the back, so we will have to wait and see.
Weather is British summer, so might be some rain on Friday afternoon and some forecasts even say drips on Sat/Sun, but Beeb has it dry for Sat/Sun, but some unpredictability would be nice for either race or Q-session.
