Feel that RBR had it after start, better at looking after rear tires and Sergio ahead. Vsc could have had thrown a joker, but Max looked on it.
Ferrari pls fix PU, championship fight need it. Silverstone should better for them (mostly front limited), they need it to stop the rot, if Canada becomes a rear-traction/topspeed race again.
Mercedes so slow, Silverstone their last Chance, flat and fast corners, cannot see them bounce back in Canada
At finally picking up some points, shame for Yuki

I an not a Lewis fan, but an incredible race from him.
Doesn’t deserve this shit car. Should be fighting for the title.

what were they talking about on Sky??
But Mercedes wants their fancy suspension systems back and PR has started this weekend and will be talk of town on Brit media coming week.

Better one with audio after race
And another stat for Shanks;)
Max Verstappen has more wins from Charles Leclerc's pole positions than Charles himself
Charles' wins:
Australia 2022
Bahrain 2022
Monza 2019
Spa 2019
Max's wins:
Baku 2022
Spain 2022
Miami 2022
Monaco 2021
Austria 2019

backpain to backpain, so Raceweek again and after few absent Covid years finally back in Montreal, always love track and atmosphere.
Would say similar to Baku a bumpy streettrack, just bit more downforce required and a car that can ride the curbs well. Do wonder if they will be as aggressive as in the past with these cars.
So Charles for pole (think Ferrari over cubs is better) and similar race pace and if speed difference isn't to big (with DRS open) and if Ferrari found temp solutions to their reliability issues (not requiring turbo parts, id so penalty), should be Charles redemption, but that is a lot of ifs, so prob Max win ;)
Midfield curious if the Merc "we want are suspensions back" pr continues or if they finally raise there back end a bit for a more comfortable ride for Lewis and George. Lewis never beaten 7 races in row by teammate should at least fire him up on a track he likes. What wing does Alpine show up with and what shenanigans is Fernando up to this week. DannyRic need to show it week to week and pressure on Mick is rising and can the Ferrari powered teams stop the tech issues and reach the finish (specially Zhou) for once.
Looks cold but dry in the weekend, might be some rain on Friday.

My partner's family know the Stroll's, being Montreal natives, I hope they're still in the sport next year because I'm fairly certain I could get a free ticket for Montreal
Good thing this race is on 3am local for me.
Not sure my heart can take another almost perfect race weekend from Charles but the team fucks up.

Don't think those that were complaining the hardest are gonna like this solution a lot, as they would have to raise their cars the most.
Reading tweets sounds like proposal/idea not yet implemented this weekend (just monitoring?), so have to see bit more, but sounds most logical solution to the problem.
There is an official FIA explanation now: FIA takes steps to reduce porpoising in the interests of safety
will this make all teams downgrade the cars to match Mercedes or Mercedes downgrade even further lmao?
By recon_zero Go To Postwill this make all teams downgrade the cars to match Mercedes or Mercedes downgrade even further lmao?
no downgrading for those that sit within the set limit, only those that bounce to much, so Toto is
So take Baku, which was very bad due to poor state of tarmac (lots of bumps), teams like Mercedes that were bouncing to much would be forced to raise their ride height to a point were bouncing would be within limits and for example Alfa Romeo, with no issues could just keep running like they were.
So this is not the short term solution Mercedes wanted at all, but they might be playing the long game. As in better solutions for next year (some better suspension system) or that they now know their current, has to run very hard and low to work, concept is wrong (on bumpy tracks) and can alter and focus all for a better car next season.
