By Linius Go To PostHmm, the price bracket of a couple of thousand isn’t something I can ‘afford’. But I would be willing to put aside money on a monthly basis to buy something like that. But the real deal (20K+ watches) is just something I will/can never do.

Eager to get rid of my Daniel Wellington though. Definitely gonna get me something new within the next year. In a reasonable price bracket that is (maybe 500 tops).

By bacon Go To PostMy dad did just that with an Omega Seamaster and he's barely ever worn it. If you don't have the money to replace it's too risky to actually wear it. So it's locked up in his safe in the original packaging.

By Linius Go To PostYeah that’s too bad man, in the end I will only buy a watch to actually enjoy it. If it’s just sitting inside a safe it won’t mean much to me. Well unless it’s some family piece of course.

And luckily, like people mentioned, most people don’t know too much about watches. You’ll have to know them to see the value. Unless it’s a big ass shiny Rolex indeed.

Why can’t we just enjoy the nice things.
