By KidA Seven Go To PostThink we can get rid of Rojo. Just has to be very very cheap. Lingard is probably more doable than Jones as Jones is more injury prone, but have to think Jones' reputation as a footballer is more in tact. Either way, the strategy would be just to give them away. Also they signed 6 players on loan last time round, so saying they're not interested in developing others seems a bit ridiculous
What a dumb comment. His brother is still at the club and Ryan was only 18 years old in an obviously terrible side.

Honestly think Jones is so fucking clumsy that he wouldn't be that much better even if he played every match

Great. Now let's go to Zorc and tell him he must sell because we have an agreement. That'll get a great reaction I'm sure.
The transfer request is pretty much what Daniel Harris said earlier today. That might drive the price down a little bit. But if €80m is the max we're offering then it's not happening.
Ornstein thinks we still have interest in Douglas Costa as well.

Has no legal bearing etc.
Unless the clubs get an agreement, it's not gonna happen.
In the end, didn't Barca pay the #fullamount for Dembele, despite his protest? Not sure that encouraging Sancho to try the same will do much to budge Dortmund on his price
By Pennywise Go To PostThis stuff doesn't exist here. Not saying it does, but it's a line that has been given to journalists by someone close to whatever passes for negotiations between the sides.

Not sure that encouraging Sancho to try the same will do much to budge Dortmund on his priceAs far as I remember during March that year the numbers that went through the press were 50m € + 20m € as bonus that Barca was willing to pay.
In the end Dortmund got what they wanted with 105m € right away and 40m € as bonus payments (20m € have been reached so far, the remaining 20m € will follow if he's sold).
It's amazing. In Sanchos cases they pretty much openly communicated what they want and when it's supposed to happen. Giving both the player and interested clubs an opportunity.
Everything was agreed upon and there was a regular contact with the agent.

Although they say Sancho needs to ask for the move and that has now been reported by quite a few journalists, United still need to pay up what Dortmund want, so I think we'll offer close to the €120m overall one way or another. Assume Dortmund wouldn't want to keep a player who doesn't want to be there anymore if he asks for a move and want to have enough time to find a replacement. If it happens, both clubs will try to spin it positively to the media.
Also, the €60m matches what Harris mentioned in his initial tweet so he's probably got a decent source. However he did say woodward tried to gazunder and that may be the €80m max mentioned.
Shit is just going to drag on :(

Imagine going for Dembele after snubbing Bale for his injury record.
I hope United land DebeGOD, would be one of the most hilarious transfers in some time.

It's gonna be fun watching Kubo again, Villarreal is kinda perfect for him tbh, he's going to elevate the fuck outta that team.
I'll say it again for Scum to quote, barring injuries or no playing time, top 10 La Liga player next year, mark it down.

Yeah, imagine not paying €100m + Pogba for a 30 year old on £600k p/w that can't stay healthy for half a season. Wow, why did we not entertain such a gift from Madrid? Nuts.

Declan is coming home
Ehhh, I'm not convinced getting a player who hasn't played CB in a while is the best solution to our CB problems.
I suppose he could also function as a backup/successor to Kante, but I dunno.

I'm just hoping the staff know what they are doing and see something we don't. (For the record I think he's great and will only improve but ??? on being our top CB.)

It's a punt to be sure.
I understand that the best CBs are difficult to get without breaking the bank, but Rice feels like a forced solution. I hope I'm wrong.
I was listening to the Athletic Chelsea FC podcast earlier today, and they theorised that we might go for experienced placeholder players to tide us over until next season due to the expenditure we're focusing elsewhere- Ben Foster at GK for instance.
I could understand the logic to an extent, but sheesh, that would reek of skewed priorities.
