No side effects from the first or second vaccine other than a slightly sore arm. What a specimen I am.

Huge immune response seems to be a good indicator of preventing breakthroughs according to these new theories. No one knows 100% yet though

RIP Pedja
Here in Brazil some states are mixing vaccines on the second jab. Lots on Astrazeneca are getting the 2nd from pfizer, not by mistake I mean lol. Testing seem to be positive.

I got Moderna for both, though, just because that was the one most available at the time.
what's a huge immune response? I felt weak as fuck the day after getting it, but that's about it. no fever or stuff like that.

Read somewhere that a strong immune response on your first dose means you already had COVID but not sure about the accuracy of that.
That's a probability as well. I did go to Seattle at the start of it and I was weak as shit for like two weeks after I came back. But yea after my first dose of Phizer I felt weak. The second dose had me fucked up for a day but medicine solved it.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostRead somewhere that a strong immune response on your first dose means you already had COVID but not sure about the accuracy of that.Sounds like bs

By Perfect Blue Go To PostRead somewhere that a strong immune response on your first dose means you already had COVID but not sure about the accuracy of that.Since the start of the pandemic, I had exactly 1 day sick, it was the one after I took the vaccine, so I pretty much didnt have covid or it was completely asymptomatic.
Well in general most symptoms from coronaviruses are just your body trying to fight the disease. Fevers are just your bodies way to raise its temperature in an attempt to make the disease unable to replicate in a higher temp environment. Sore throat is from your body basically nuking the affected area to kill off the virus.
Also, 'the start of the pandemic' is sort of a moving target. Evidence suggests it start much earlier than people think.
I know mans who had symptoms as early as December.
Epidemic means localised.
Pandemic means it's crossed borders.

An epidemic or pandemic is by definition a large amount of people, so going by first identified case isn't really accurate either. When people say "start of the pandemic" colloquially I think they mean those first days that they knew shit was getting serious and we needed to start staying home.
Worse vaccination side effects are actually associated with already having covid, but its definitely not a "if you had bad side effects that means you had covid" type deal. Evidence of swollen lymph nodes also. Non peer reviewed study:

I think immune systems are just too different between people to really draw conclusions for an individual knowing how effective a vaccination will be based on their symptoms.

Just like the vaccine, I expect the actual virus to just float straight through me. "Nope, I don't want anything to do with this guy." Or like Abe Simpson walking into the Maison Derrière.

You know shit is getting real again when DeSantis is telling Floridians to get vaccinated and giving them reasons why. LOL

what's this clown name mcconell something
or am I confusing that with lindsey graham?
whatever, they look alike and are both shitheads
One of the only things that would make GOP switch a stance is donor money drying up.
Pretty clear they don't even care enough about their constituents to keep them above ground and voting.

A cinema experience is undeniably better unless you are some wealthy individual who can have their own hi-fi and home theater set up.
Films are 10 times more enjoyable at the Cinema than at home. Helps that the cinemas close to me are always clean, quite and well maintaned.
By faridmon Go To PostAnyone been to the Cinema lately?ive been a few times. Always quite empty, i expect many are unwilling still so it's probably fine unless the situation has drastically changed.

By faridmon Go To PostAnyone been to the Cinema lately?I've been a few times. Can you book online and choose your seats at your local cinema? Because in NI at least they are still at reduced capacity - when you book your seat it blocks off the seats around you.

Matinee or weekday should be ok. Every film I've seen has basically been in an empty screen. About 25 people seeing Quiet Place was the most.
I would be uncomfortable at a full house but we won't see those until after summer i would think.
