I'm out without someone, getting supplies from Home Depot, and when the person I was with asked this dickhead ass man to move back, this maskless mother fucker decides to walk closer and invade her space. The person I'm with is fucking immunocompromised.
Now, here the fuck I come, up from paying for my shit elsewhere, wondering why the hell she's pissed. If he got sat on his hoe ass, then it would have been a problem. Ffs

You have a lot more restraint than me, somebody getting hit with a propane grill.
By Nonja Go To PostHer husband was the one who called the cops, wasn't he?
Yes.
The cops confirmed with each other that she has a traumatic brain issue ("TBI"), right before they told her to turn around. That could range from anything to bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, an injury that's caused recent mental distress, etc. That kind of info could only be obtained from someone close, most likely her husband standing calmly there. She was most likely taken to a psychiatric facility to get evaluated.
A lot of these "Karens" the world is putting on blast are people with mental disorders that need a lot of help. Having dealt with a lot of people in my life that suffer from personality disorders, most of the signs are usually very obvious. Obviously, some are just cruel and scummy people, but a big chunk are people in real distress.
A big chunk are absolute pieces of shit who hide behind anything sturdy enough to get away with it....
Man like mental issues are a thing but ensuring you don't get diagnosed or regularly taking meds is also abdicating responsibility.

WASHINGTON ā After several months of mixed messages on the coronavirus pandemic, the White House is settling on a new one: Learn to live with it.
Administration officials are planning to intensify what they hope is a sharper, and less conflicting, message of the pandemic next week, according to senior administration officials, after struggling to offer clear directives amid a crippling surge in cases across the country. On Thursday, the United States reported more than 55,000 new cases of coronavirus and infection rates were hitting new records in multiple states.

america seems to be damn good at learning to live with it. memorial day, juneteenth and the 4th were lit, as well as every other weekend in between.
Personally I think GOP leadership made the decision that In order to get re-elected they needed a booming economy and prioritized reopening. A booming economy would come at the cost of life and they could live with this demo getting hit. So they reopen, push bad mask policy and trump bravado in the face of a pandemic and now theyāre all trying to Jedi mind trick everyone into thinking they were always for masks while also pushing āitās really not that badā narrative
The funny thing is, while I can imagine that being their strategy, going by the last 4 years the most effective thing they'll end up doing to energize their base is going after the VP pick
the gop is who neglected public health infrastructure for their loyally voting minority communities for how many decades now?

Everyone should get blame from an existing infrastructure standpoint. The push to open early because of an election when a specific demo is likely to get hit harder is not a āeveryone got blameā thing though.
Does everything need to be a defend the right due to the lefts past blunders thing? Seriously
Curious to see what if any rescue packages are coming in at the state level in these areas.
My work hours got cut, and man, the unemployment commission here is literally in shambles. Two month + waiting times for interviews.

States donāt have the ability to print money. States providing stimulus are actually hindering their ability to grow post pandemic. Total catch 22 due to congressional gridlock on the issue. (Thanks Mitch)

This would be a better argument if Dems hadnāt been fIghting for more than a decade now on healthcare reform and even then, Iām not really arguing. Having better social safety nets and healthcare in place would have been great and everyone had a role in where we are.
That being said, we are where we are and understanding where we are should be reason to provide more and better Stimulus packages and slower pushes to reopen. Only one party is pushing on ignoring where we are

Tulsi Bae Gabbard for VP, shame she isn't on the shortlist. Kamala and the rest...bleh.
Although Val Demings has a fairly decent record that I can't imagine GOP would be able to attack or use against her. Just avoid Warren, Kamala, and some of the others.

you keep defaulting to national arguments like these cities and states that have been dominated by the democratic party haven't been two stepping with public health since the 50s lol. its not even about it being affordable either. its about the fact that if you're black, your medical care has consistently been a non priority in every way from biases to facilities in disrepair to discouraging specialists to work in certain areas.
if you want to talk about why minorities are dying more, its got little to do with decisions made in the past few months and more to do with the outright deliberate neglect and perpetual empty promises that made some communities more susceptible and vulnerable than others that's beeeeeeeen going on. you kill more people by denying services than you can by driving into a crowd...

Dems since Clinton been on that tack. I don't know where Fender is going with this.
We do not have people in power with much interest in real social programs. Even Obamacare is still paying out your ass to a third party so you don't get fined by the government. Great shit. A+. For some people the fine is less than a huge portion of their check, so they're still uninsured. America land of the free to die preventable deaths or get saved and go into debt.

Some more shit to chew on:
A Massive Wave of Evictions Will Probably Hit Washington Next Month
A Massive Wave of Evictions Will Probably Hit Washington Next Month
Landlord lobbyists and tenant advocates don't agree on much, but both parties have been screaming their heads off about the same thing for a month now.
Once Gov. Jay Inslee lifts his statewide eviction moratorium, which is set to expire in August, landlords will initiate a massive wave of evictions across Washington. The evictions could push thousands into homelessness, exacerbating an already intractable crisis as the deadly coronavirus pandemic continues to surge.
State and local officials say theyāre aware of this problem, but most policies appear insufficient or prohibitively expensive without more federal aid.

Iām being pretty clear. Dems played a roll in where we are.
That being said Dems arenāt the ones holding up another stimulus, pushing hard for reopens ignoring data, trying to blow up preexisting condition in the SCOTUS during a pandemic, the demographics etc etc
Like the GOP made a clear calculus to IGNORE all this and reopen early and the response is, āyeah but infrastructure?ā
