By Gaby Go To PostWhy do people think he can see the future? He can not.because it's stated he can?
pretty sure they showed us awhile back Bran seeing one dragon fly over kings landing among other visions
By Gaby Go To PostWhen? Where? It says he can see what happened and what is happening. Not what will happen.https://gameofthrones.fandom.com/wiki/Greensight
Jojen did, right. But it is never stated that Jojen knew everything either. Why would Bran be all-knowing? He might see glimpses.
Again, where does it say that the Three Eyed Raven knows everything about the future? Even for the past, Bran has angles he hasn't explored.
No one knows what Bran can or can’t do because they’ve barely touched the character.
He pretty much had a whole season dedicated to him becoming the 3ER but after that, he’s probably had 10 minutes total of screen time.

Don't think it was ever said he could see the future. But if he knew of everything that has happened and is happening, he can probably infer where things are going.
Yeah. And if he can sit outside in the snow for personal reasons then he can open his mouth for other stuff too.
In my head canon Cersei gets away on a small barge just looking at the city with a wine glass in her hand, slowly drifting away. Cersei dying without her wine is the real bullshit moment of the series.
By Lunatic Go To PostDidn't she stop drinking wine because she was pregnant?Nope

Glad to give you closure.
No, but I mean, it is a shot in the last episode. We see it getting shattered when Drogo starts destroying the Red Keep.

If Jamie can swim dozens of feet under water while wearing 50lbs of armor and Jon can survive being attacked by zombies under a frozen lake while wearing 50lbs of fur theres no telling what Cersei is capable of.
By Lunatic Go To PostReached peak anime haven't we.We didn't even get to see cersei's incest bankai
Outside of how it seems as though Varys fell into an acme vat of intelligence sapping chemicals, I'm pretty okay with the how and the why as to his timely demise. My only wish would have been for Tyrion to tear him down several more notches before he snitched on him.
Varys shared similar aspects to his Dragon queen's more negative personality traits (destiny vs duty to the realm, being the biggest) and penchant for violence to get the job done. He was a tyrant loving gambler who outplayed his hand and an actual enemy to the commoners of the realm. Why care about a chair, when you influence the person on it: iron throne adjacent. Man might have been "correct" about Dany's snap, but it was nothing but projection when he was talking to Tyrion. This dude tried to kill a grieving woman, because she might "go crazy" after her bestie and son got killed, and her lover emotionally ghosted her. Not talk. Murder.
If this was written better...or well...at all, I'd say he almost functions as a dig at a certain group of the audience. His existence at the end feels like a side eye to all of those that agree with him.
Drogon might have killed him, but only because his heart of the cards, coin tossing, RNG manipulating, Yugioh bullshit, finally failed. Man was trash day -1.
Edit: Varys and Dany almost feel like kindred spirits and it's always been a race to see who would off whom first.

Seems to me he always wants a shit one off the throne but doesn't give two fucks the consequences or makes decent enough moves for who will replace them, then he gotta fuck with another shitbird in the mix.

By Gaby Go To PostVarys likes tyrants? Sounds more like he wants a better ruler every time.
Then he's either the worst judge of character of all times, that bad of a gambler, or wholly incompetent at everything, except being a spymaster. He's been attracted to impressively fucked up people: ending with Adolf Dany.
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostThen he's either the worst judge of character of all times, that bad of a gambler, or wholly incompetent at everything, except being a spymaster. He's been attracted to impressively fucked up people: ending with Adolf Dany.in the books he's a Blackfyre sympathizer* (fake Aegon) and since they were scrapped from the show they made him into a Targaryen sympathizer so at first it was Adolf and then Jon. He's not exactly a saint lol
*possibly a descendant, one popular theory is that he shaves his silver hair to hide his true identity or something. Could also explain why he was picked out of all the boys to be used in a ritual
the dissonance between the love the show has for arya a known sociopath who's answer to everything is to kill everything and the hate it has for dany who's been for 90% of the show on a mission to save Innocents from injusticia Is funny
There was a good point I read about not showing how Arya actually fed those sons to Walder to just hop, skip and jump over her sadism. Then she's the one we get on the ground for the Dragon crap lol.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostHis “for the realm” bullshit just never rang true to who he is as a characterI don't know. It's not like he could run a political campaign. I prefer his scheming to blind loyalty to rules that impose arbitrary rulers.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIf he was for the realm then Renly might've lived a few more seasonsHow? It was Melisandre/Stannis's doing.
Didn't even try to assist ever really. "For The Realm" always came off poorly.
