The new season has arrived, just in time for the most exciting holiday of the year: Bulldog Day!
If Uga goes back in his cage without seeing the hedges, Georgia will once again fall flat on their face in the SEC East.

I think Texas will be good. Herman is easily the best hire they could have made.
The Big 12 is really fascinating this season with new coaches at OU, UT, and Baylor.
I feel like with our talent and schedule this is a plum opportunity to finally win another conference title. But of course we'll probably have to beat OU at least once and probably twice to do it. 🤢

Please. Wimbush and that offense are going to put up good numbers under Chip Long for ND.
The defense however is not going to be able to pass rush, which has been an issue for a long time now.
The schedule isn't a back breaker this year though so that is a nice change. The game @ Miami is going to be a lot of fun.

Why are we ranked? This team isn't going to be good. How many dumb Butch Jones quotes will we get this year? I am guessing 10.
I don't think he will be fired but I wouldn't be surprised if he bolted for another job after he goes 7-5 this year.
By Lonestar Go To PostWhy can I never remember this board? Butch Jones 4 VolCoach 4 lfeMaybe because Malka has banned our board's name from being posted over there? 🤔

Huh. So there are games today.
I half-heartedly watched some BYU-Portland State but I just couldn't keep it on for long.

BYU looked pretty bad against an FCS team today. Clearly that means next week we will beat LSU, right?

About 24 hours before OSU's title run begins. Yee haw.
Also can't wait to see what kinda bullshit Nike breaks out this season. These abominations will be hard to top:

By Monroeski Go To PostOnly took me a week to realize this new thread exists!Brb, gonna reach out to retract my "Best CFB-GAF Poster" vote.

Whew. I have to say: it was only Tulsa, but we looked fucking phenomenal. Passing game was unstoppable, run game was unstoppable, and the defensive front held up well.
Weaknesses to work on: pass rush, keeping mobile QBs contained in the pocket. I have nightmares of Baker Mayfield doing bad things to us if we lose discipline like we did last night.

Spread was 20 1/2 for Ohio State, and they came through clutch and covered. Wasn't looking so good in that first half.
And yeah, Gondo, it was Tulsa. That LSU transfer was nice, but how much can you take away from Tulsa.

In the last couple of seasons we've had issues against the Tulsas and Central Michigans (🙈) of the world, and Tulsa isn't chopped liver. They went 10-3 last year. Probably the best way to approach games like that is to take poor performance as a sign for alarm and a good performance as expected.
That said, we are gonna be fucking fierce on offense. We spell our number 1 receivers with Marcell Ateman, Tyron Johnson, and Dillon Stoner. Also, the O-line and running game looked the best it has since 2011. If we had gone all-out on offense we would have easily set a school record.
However, our schedule is lowkey tricky this year.
@ South Alabama
@ Pitt
vs. TCU
@ TTU
vs. Baylor
@ Texas
@ WVU
vs. OU
But we have the horses to get through that stretch with one loss or less as long as we stay healthy.
Aight, I'm officially ready for it all. Going to the Canes game tomorrow morning, hate 12:30 kickoffs. Benefit is all the primetime games for the most part are after. I see us doing very well with our soft schedule and rematching FSU in the ACC championship game.
After finding out that a Miami player produced a Rick Ross track I'm all in. They're my ACC team this year.
By KingGondo Go To PostHoly shit Maryland is terrible
Then what is Texas
MD is winning now and Texas doesn't have any offensive points?
Penn State on the national broadcast against Akron and they look bland on offense. Their star tailback has three carries in as many possessions at the end of the first quarter.
