I wouldn't doubt that. Maybe I should say I wouldn't be shocked. Jamie saw the look of crazed revenge in her eye and knows Winter is coming and gives no fucks.
I think Jamie leaves her to die. The look of disgust and anger on his face in that last scene. Jamie won't kill someone he loves but he won't save them just like Nolan's Batman
Interesting shot
My guess is that Euron captures Tyrion is walking him by a leash through King's Landing before bringing him to Cersei.

The prophecy says her little brother will kill her. So far all of her sons have died so the prophecy has come true so far. She's always assumed that means Tyrion. Jamie is younger though and has a history with taking out psychotic rulers.
Theory Time: Arya Kills Jamie and uses his face to kill Cersei fulfilling the prophecy.
jamie will kill cersei after realizing she is a terrible ruler
makes more sense in the books when he turned on her around the time his arm got cut off, but the show is heading in that direction as well

By flinbad the flailer Go To PostI blame Martin. I suspect many of these plot points are in his notes, most of them for over a quarter-century.I blame everyone.
Much of the unpredictability of the previous books/seasons comes from the snarled sprawl of the whole thing. They're a consequence of Martin not knowing how to get precisely from Point A to Point B as he originally conceived of what was supposed to be a trilogy.
Now that the show's writers have overtaken the books and found themselves mired in his notes, they're in the same position as Martin, struggling to connect the dots, but without the luxury of Martin's I'll-ruminate-on-it-for-decades approach to drafting.
What you receive, as a consequence, is the show shifting from Martin's garrulous style to something far more direct and sanded down; and in the process not only does it feel quicker and more contrived, but it also finally allows those bits set up in the first book to come into focus.
This season more than any other is probably what George originally had in mind for the second and third books of his trilogy, for better or worse.
Martin for not seeing the problem alot earlier, the guy got so much experience and knows exactly how slow he is and how fast these TV seasons would pass by. He cleared his schedule way to late and took on so much unecessary things (writing TV episodes, a dozen of cons and so on).
It's his own choice and he's old enough to make them, but he knew what he was getting into.
HBO for not getting ahead earlier with the prequel stuff.
There is so much material they could have used as filler to give both Martin and the showrunners/writers more time to get their shit done properly.
Dunk and Egg alone could have filled 1-2 years and would be far easier to pull off. Heck they could have even included it in the main series easily during the right moments (for example when Jaime is taking over the Kings Guard). There were so many events they could have taken for a nice flashback.
Showrunners/writers for dumbing down so many characters, I get that they're not gonna include every freaking character when they already have a big cast, but alot of changes have been for the worse (Stannis,Jaime,Blackfish,Kevan, everyone from Dorne and many more).
And particularly for setting their focus on character deaths.
The show/books always had alot of deaths and important characters dying was obviously a rather big focus, but now it just feels like the focus is entirely on "who is gonna die next".
Character building is nearly non existent and there are hardly any new interesting characters following all those dead characters.
By Pennywise Go To PostI blame everyone.Only the first is really culpable for the predictability of the show. The last is responsible for much of the superficiality. The middle, though? Nah. Give Martin another year or two, and he still wouldn't be any further with the story, but they'd be assailed on all sides by rabid fans, disgruntled actors, and nonplussed producers.

and keep all those dozens of actors on board? they have lives, need money and want to further their careers. every season they will ask for more and they'll get offered bigger roles, especially if you appear like 3 times a season but are expected to clear your schedule everytime they need you? you can't just stretch a show like that to 10+ years.
there's a a reason they announced that season 7 will be the end a while ago, you can lock down contracts and give your employees a time frame so they can start planning their lifes post-GoT.
it's not like WoW will be out soon, it might very well never come out.
also, Yara's fleet ain't shit lmao. Euron took down the entire army with like 10 good men. Shout out to Ramsey.

At least Euron is as crazy as in the books now.
Also I think the wolf scene was just foreshadowing Nymeria actually coming with her later in the season.

Nymeria sensed Ayra changed. I still think you'll see her return when Ayra needs her the most.
I hope she's given birth to an Army of Direwolves.

By Apollo Go To PostCan we talk about how happy Tyrion and Ayra were to hear Jon was the King now?Tyrion was born into the wrong family.
