They raise the rate but provide a larger deduction for a net gain for people in the lower class. They're doing this so it doesn't seem like only the rich are benefitting.
It's also come out that Mark Meadows, HFC lead shithead, is totally A O Fuckin' K with tax cuts not being budget neutral. In other words ... hypocritical douche bags. The deficit is such a divisive tool.

Hopefully, these stronger words and criticisms from more and more people are putting enough pressure to force/encourage change to actually happen. I'm not overly confident of it. Like, if this kinda stuff continues at this intensity and consistency, we might start seeing significant changes in like five years.
That's both not a long time and eternity.

Dy, It's 2017 bruh. I get that you're all about the action. I think everyone would prefer it over verbose lectures. Shit gets done when people are under actual pressure. However, if you're not engaging on social media, and putting statements out in the blogosphere, in this day and age, then you're not doing enough...period. If there wasn't a need for it, then some of the online cesspools we have wouldn't exist.
To that end, they're all failing. I know there are plenty of starving filmmakers, graphic designers, and artists in general, that they could mobilize to create some actual campaigns worth a damn instead of all of these one note speeches.

I shouldn't have said "I understand where you are coming from." cuz, really, I don't. I probably should have said "I empathize with you.", instead. My bad.
I believe Corker made his fortune in real estate so I'm sure with his contacts and influence now he'll go back to that life and cash in again.

This is why I'm just chilling out right now. People be like "We need to come together" and I cut them off right there. No, YOU get your **** and your people together. We been here. Still waiting.

This passage had me shook.
This will never end until "well-meaning" white people say enough is enough.
The truth hurts white people. Colin Kaepernick has hurt white people, and that is why it’s convenient to banish him, because he holds America’s worst nightmare: the mirror. And while the genuine apologies from the most Black-Lives-Matter-sign-in-the-front-yard white person are endless, there is a real difference between guilt and understanding—understanding that nothing will change unless you and people like you fix the mess that you unfairly inherited, from which you so unfairly still benefit, right now.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2732670-colin-kaepernick-anthem-race-in-america

Man ... that tax plan looks like hot garbage. They're vagueness on the specifics is misleading a bunch of people into agreement that it isn't shitty. It is.

Facts. These "protesting" NFL owners are comical.
It's amazing how fast the narrative changed. It's one thing to see/read about something that happened as a child and not be able to process it. It took less than a day and 124 characters on twitter for the narrative to change. Witnessing this as an adult is wild.

We need massive wealth redistribution in this country.
It will only come by violent revolution.
Can't even have a conversation about raising the minimum wage without some "hard working middle class" type getting bent all out of shape, because they would rather someone stay beneath them in net income than demand higher wages from their employer.
Now imagine how pugnacious actual rich people will be if you can convince poor hopefuls to stop defending the existence of multimillionaires....

Russian-bought Black Lives Matter ad on Facebook targeted Baltimore and Ferguson
Next level psychological warfare. Just baiting pieces of shit to be bigger pieces of shit out of fear that black people want equality.
Why can't the Dems get on this level? They shouldn't feel like they're above this type of modern political warfare.
The Black Lives Matter ad appeared on Facebook at some point in late 2015 or early 2016, the sources said. The sources said it appears the ad was meant to appear both as supporting Black Lives Matter but also could be seen as portraying the group as threatening to some residents of Baltimore and Ferguson.

I wish it was that simple. Because we've been saying that for years, but we just become the pinko liberal elites that they tune out. That they retreat into their echo chambers to avoid, because at the end of the day privilege feels better. They don't give a fuck, they figure getting ahead is hard enough already, they're not giving it up.
I'm not being defeatist; there are people you can reach. There are people who've just never heard the arguments the right way from the right people. Somehow, there are people who've never heard them at all.
But honestly, when your fundamental disconnect is over "hey don't shoot black people for no reason," you're talking to martians in the first place.

From Carol Anderson's White Rage (2016). She writes as a historian but for a non-academic audience. Highly recommended, ofc.
I want to know what the manual says are okay things to put in that field. "I experimented with a bit of light terrorism in college," or "carried out off-books ops for ExxonMobil in Angola" etc.

How could one ever sue the "alt right"?
Regarding Facebook:
http://money.cnn.com/2017/09/28/technology/hate-speech-facebook-twitter-europe/index.html
European regulators have been pushing social media firms to remove racist and violent posts from their platforms in a timely manner for years. Their patience is running out.
Facebook (FB, Tech30), Twitter (TWTR, Tech30), Microsoft (MSFT, Tech30) and Google (GOOGL, Tech30) have all pledged to do more. In May 2016, they promised to review a majority of hate speech flagged by users within 24 hours and to remove any illegal content.
But the European Commission, EU's top regulator, said Thursday they are still failing to act fast enough. It said it would pass laws allowing the EU to impose punishments on companies that fail to act.
"The situation is not sustainable: in more than 28% of cases, it takes more than one week for online platforms to take down illegal content," said Mariya Gabriel, the EU's top official in charge of the digital economy and society.
At least the EU is putting pressure on them. We have a congressional hearing coming up soon regarding social media as well.

I mean, BLM obviously gets credit and blame for shit they have nothing to do with. A big enough platform for the right would have the same effect. It's just not created yet (also its clearly inherent in many anyways).

The "alt right" is a general classification for "white nationalist," "White supremacist," "nazi", or the "KKK". It's a dumbed down catchall term for the worst on the right so they're not immediately shunned. You can't sue the "alt right". You can sue organizations or people etc. Not concepts or ideologies. We'd all be suing capitalism if we could for instance. That's why this bumpkis case suing BLM was tossed. It's a social movement and set of ideals. The dude who tossed the rock at the cop? Sure ... he could be sued. A Nazi attacking a peaceful minority protester could be as well.
BLM is a legit business. Website, board, leaders, chapters, whole nine. That's why I'm always so irritated when people say BLM this and that and throw a #BLM on everything worth a retweet. The majority of people for it against them don't even know where their money is.
Once an entity with equal gravity gains traction on the right, what will people do when things get flipped?
