By Kibner Go To PostWhy didn't they during this past election?
They did:
It all came down to the distribution of votes not working out, particularly because rust belt non-college educated whites flipped sides.
But basically the same number of people turned out for Hillary as had Obama, and millions more than Trump got.
I can't believe 7.8mil fucking people thought Jill Stein or Gary Johnson were viable candidates smh.

A lot of them just thought the other options suck.
I know a few lifelong Green Party peeps and a even more recently-declared Libertarians. Both are hoping that one day we will have viable multiple choice rather than a binary.
They keep making the mistake of scoring a touchdown before gaining first downs. Got to take over municipalities and like the GOP does first. Legislature at all levels is how you create a party presence.

President Trump has told senior aides that he has decided to remove Stephen K. Bannon, the embattled White House chief strategist who helped Mr. Trump win the 2016 election, according to two administration officials briefed on the discussion.
The president and senior White House officials were debating when and how to dismiss Mr. Bannon. The two administration officials cautioned that Mr. Trump is known to be averse to confrontation within his inner circle, and could decide to keep on Mr. Bannon for some time.
As of Friday morning, the two men were still discussing Mr. Bannon’s future, the officials said. A person close to Mr. Bannon insisted the parting of ways was his idea, and that he had submitted his resignation to the president on Aug. 7, to be announced at the start of this week, but it was delayed in the wake of the racial unrest in Charlottesville, Va.

Not that this isn't great news, but why is he getting rid of the nationalists when they're his base? HE JUST SUPPORTED NAZIS!

and not five minutes ago I read an article saying he's going to be an unshackled staunch defender of Trump outside of the whitehouse and actually resigned
*shrug*
It's all coming down like a house of cards. The center cannot hold. Trump is gonna victoriously resign and then the knives come out and it'll be every nazi for himself.
He'll never resign
Im not even sure he'll do the 'peaceful' transfer or power when the time comes.
What happened with Arnold. Didn't really pay attention to politics back then.

Well it's easy.
Trump craves attention and being liked.
He's having very low approval rate, so his desperate attempt is to drop Bannon from his administration in hopes it will boost it up again.

Edit: had to go check and see if right-wingers were happy, mad, or ambivalent about this. They're mad so I'm happy.
Breitbarts take is incredibly weak given their connection to Bannon

By Nazi Propaganda OutletLike Trump, Schwarzenegger ran for high office as a celebrity outsider, promising to reform a corrupt, wasteful and lethargic political system, reaching across party lines.
When he took office in 2003 as Governor of California, “The Terminator” carried the hopes of conservatives in the Golden State, who saw him as a vehicle for their ideas, even if he was not a doctrinaire conservative himself. The faltering California Republican Party looked to Schwarzenegger to reverse its long-term decline, and Republicans elsewhere saw his success as a model from which they could learn as they courted moderate, swing-state voters.
But after struggling with intense media criticism, and after losing a key referendum on reforms to state government, Schwarzenegger gave up on his agenda, and abandoned the political base that had brought him into office. He re-invented himself as a liberal, embracing policies such as California’s controversial cap-and-trade program, which had zero effect on climate change but has chased businesses, jobs, and middle-class families out of the state.
Politically, Schwarzenegger’s gambit was a success. He won re-election in 2006. But his second term was a disaster. When he left office in 2010, the state was in a financial shambles and the California Republican Party had begun a decline from which it still has not recovered.
Bannon was not just Trump’s master strategist, the man who turned a failing campaign around in August 2016 and led one of the most remarkable come-from-behind victories in political history. He was also the conservative spine of the administration. His infamous whiteboard in the West Wing listed the promises Trump had made to the voters, and he was determined to check as many of them off as possible. Steve Bannon personified the Trump agenda.
With Bannon gone, there is no guarantee that Trump will stick to the plan. That is why — too late, in retrospect — conservative leaders wrote to the president Friday to advise him that Bannon and campaign manager-turned-counselor Kellyanne Conway were too valuable to lose. Bannon had delivered for the movement, reportedly convincing President Trump to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords, and to visit Israel on his first trip abroad.
Bannon was also probably the only person who could deliver honest advice and criticism to the president, because he did not need the job. He is a self-made man, and not a Washington climber. Thus it was that Bannon reportedly told Trump that firing former FBI director James Comey would be more trouble than it was worth. He was right.
Trump voters have been patient, but they will soon know if Donald Trump is really Arnold Schwarzenegger 2.0.
TLDR - Trump is a cuck for getting rid of Bannon and Breitbart's going to take him down by beating the RINO drum.

lol at cap-n-trade being a liberal proposal. Arnold failed because of his conservative policie and the Great Recession. The state under Jerry Brown is much healthier and that dude is a proper liberal.

They contributor articles are fire though and the comments section on Brietbart is giving me life. The nationalists view this as a betrayal. Other than Pence, there's no standard conservatives near him. Cohn is a dem and so is his son in law. They're all Jewish. They all think Kelly and McMaster are neoliberal hawks.
I seriously have no idea why he did this, politically.

Trump saying "there were bad people and good people on both sides, Nazis and juggalos both" won't event be the craziest shit he's said
So I know Trump is a colossal fucking moron, a white supremacist, and an absolute piece of shit, but since he's really accomplished nothing besides his transgender military ban and removing a bike station at the white house, do people really feel he's worse than Bush?
I never thought there would be a worse President than Bush. Between the war and the recession, I think it's pretty hard to top. It's not like 45 made racism a new concept, it's always been around. If anything Trump being in office has kind of made things better ironically. Thanks to the Klan feeling like they don't need to wear their hoods anymore, we're slowly no longer pretending that the Confederate flag should be flown proudly or that it should even be looked upon in a good light.
Just got me thinking because every day this clown is in the news and every day I see people saying how he's the worst president ever and I just have to disagree, at least for now. Maybe if he becomes more competent and actually gets shit done he can compete with Bush but I doubt it.

Bush was more effective at implementing evil domestic policies (tax cuts and curbing of civil liberties in particular) but Trump comes with the tail risk of nuclear armageddon.

Didn't Bush's team throw out ads against McCain claiming he had an illegitimate black baby during the 2000 primaries?

In the south they did. I can't say that's on the same level as running an entire campaign from top to bottom on hate.
the question is was Bush Jr. a good President but given a choice who would you rather have... I can't say I'd pick Trump over Bush...
