By Smokey Go To Postthats toughYeah, it'll be one or the other, 'cause that keyboard wire's gotta go. I wish I liked Logitech's new wireless gaming keyboard more than I do.
if you want to make it perfect, drill a small hole in the desk for the keyboard wire and use a sleeve for the monitor wires.
or go wireless on the keyboard and mouse
either way, that's tough, good stuff
The speakers' cables will be routed down the stand's rear X-leg, so that shouldn't be much of a problem.
The X34's cables will be hidden in a very low-profile rounded wall channel. Already painted it too, should be barely noticeable.
Just snagged a wireless g613 which is on sale again.

Absolute must buy really.
REALLY need a wireless mouse but none of those logitech mice are really meeting my needs right now...I need a good wireless gaming mouse right right side buttons (minimum two) in addition to left sided buttons.
Basically something like this but wireless:
Those additional buttons on the right can be super helpful while being strong ergonomically. There are mice with more buttons, but are not right for me positionally (like mmo mice).

Looking at some electronic standing/sitting desks right now and leaning towards a VertDesk V3 with a solid wood top.
By Smokey Go To PostYou can add and remove buttons on the G900 iirc.
Didn't know this. Perfect setup.
Might wanna double check but I think mine came with buttons you could add on, I just never used them.

Not mine but a picture I found.
Just ordered--it's perfect, same setup as my Sensei Raw. Pretty much done for gaming related black friday stuff unless I can find a 1440p gsync for 200. Which I won't, but that's the most I'm willing to upgrade for with 4k gsyncs around the corner.
What do you use to switch gadgets in battlefield?

By HottestVapes Go To PostAnybody used a steam controller? They any good?Depends on what your expectations are and what you want to use it for. Using the pad is like using a trackball mouse. So, a bit better than a stick but still nowhere close to a normal mouse. It is really good for playing PC games that weren't made for a gamepad, though.
There is an extreme amount of customization you can do with the controller. However, you can still get most of that customization in Steam using a standard console pad. The big advantages of the Steam controller over a normal pad is the two track pads and two extra buttons on the back of the grip. The disadvantages is that it has no d-pad to speak of and feels cheap (though I have never had a problem with it breaking or anything).
By Dark PhaZe Go To Posthow come i aint heard you say a word about Bttlefront 2 yet
Don't have it. I got some hours left in my origin 10 he trial tho.
If I get it it'll be on console. Need that HDR and big screen.

Don’t really have high expectations for it, kinda always wanted to try one out and since it’s on sale, I asked my girlfriend to get it for me.
Primarily use KB/M but for when I want to sit back and play something more chilled out like an RPG, I’ll use the Steam controller.
For fuck's sake, my K70 has started to develop key chatter again. I had it fixed like 4 months ago. feelsbadmang.png

Come to logitech
By Smokey Go To PostCome to logitechI'm trying to convince myself I'd be fine with the G613, as there are basically no other wireless gaming mechanical options out there. I was hoping the K70 would last me until the next iteration of the G613 comes out, but it's deteriorating too quickly, so I'll be forced to buy something.
I don't want to deal with cables anymore. The G900 has spoiled me. What a mouse.
By Smokey Go To PostMake the move. No complaints about the 613.I have a few. Function keys on the left, which I don't care for and found surprisingly distracting on my bro's G710+, no volume wheel, shitty keycaps (can be replaced, but I shouldn't have to on a 150$ keyboard). I can live with no lighting, though it would be great if they somehow managed to incorpare it and make it work with Powerplay. I expect that's exactly what they'll be attempting next, but as I've said, my K70 isn't long for this world.
Accept the Wireless Gawds as phaze has.
No volume wheel bit there's still a volume +/- button. The function keys I've never used on any of my keyboards, and don't even know they're there tbh.
But no wires
If I paid the MSRP for it, $149, I'd be a bit more pressed. But luckily I was able to get it for the $70 or whatever from the BF sale and for THAT price, it's great.

Can't believe I'll have to spend another 130€+ on a keyboard again & so soon. Fucking Corsair. Never again.
Yeah man it was a Best Buy pre BF deal and then it came back a few days ago. They were/are discounting Logitech accessories hard.

It's 108€ on Amazon.co.uk. Based #brexit. Tempting.
Can't believe how much trouble I'm having finding someone to make me a custom-cut (faux) leather desk pad. Guess I'll have to make one myself.

These are legit. First wireless headset I've owned and it's really damn good, sounds great, looks great, good battery life, and only £76.

Logitech Gang. We growing.

They’ve won me over with the headset. I’m happy with my current mouse/keyboard though so I’m not gonna shell out for more Logitech gear any time soon.
If anything breaks out of warrenty, I’ll be looking into Logitech. I like how most of their stuff looks. Less flashy and more functional.
Kinda like Noctua fans/coolers, but without the ugly beige and brown.
I actually like their shit still. Just not their shitty scroll wheels that always fucking breaks and stop registering half the input. Also their design is ugly as fuck, but I have long given up having a pc that looks anything remotely acceptable, for an adult male. So that's not much of a minus for me anymore.
By Bungie Go To PostSteel series for good mouse that doesn’t look it’s secretly a transformer
Yep, they also got fantastic customer support, if it does break. Zowie nice choice as well.
Alright so I started buying parts for my first build. So far I have
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
MSI B350M Mobo
Samsung 850 EVO Series
Toshiba - P300 3TB
Thermaltake 750W SmartPro RGB
NZXT 340 mid tower case
So all I need now is RAM and Graphics Card.
For the RAM I was thinking about getting the G.Skill Fortis Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2400 that was in the techreport guide. For the Graphics card, I was thinking about getting a 1070 but at the current prices I'm thinking if it won't be just worth it to shell out a little extra for the 1080. What do you guys think, and will I need to get a new monitor since my current one is about 1080p 60 Hz? Also I don't plan on overclocking, so the cooler on the Ryzen will be good enough right?

Cooler will be fine. A "need" for a new monitor is entirely up to personal preference. You'd presumably be moving to 1440p/144hz? You're looking at around $350 minimum depending on what monitor you go with. For 1080p, a 1070 is more than fine. If you really wanted a 1080, you could also look at a 1070 Ti and OC to 1080 range of performance, and save some $$.
Just started getting my parts together
-i7 7700k
-Samsung 850 evo
-Fractal Meshify C
Using my old graphics card for the time being, won't upgrade that til next year.
No idea what to do for MOBO or RAM.

Can only imagine that’d cost more than say, a decent 550w which would be more than enough for a 1600 and single GPU if you don’t plan to overclock.

I paired a 1600 with a 1080 and it’s been great for me. At the time, there was about a £100 difference between the 1070 and 1080, so I went for the better of the two.
Though, with the 1070Ti out now I’d be kinda swayed to go for that and overclock it for 1080 level performance at a lower price.
Decide what features are important to you for mobo. Some are geared towards over clocking, some for max expansion, some have wifi built in, etc. Go to Pcpartpicker and check out some builds and pricing. I'm partial to ASUS motherboards myself.
Canless air system. Kind of expensive but worth it if you find yourself using canned air a lot.

Ahhh, fair deal man. About the same for a 400-500w on average then.
if you would have told me 3 years ago people would still be getting 850 EVO's in new PC's in 3 years i would have called you an idiot.
