By Theowulv Go To PostGaro: Vanishing Line is a stylish action anime airing right now. It's fairly reminiscent of old school 80's/90's bloody OVA's.
Best part of the show is the strong character art, in my opinion. Actually has Takashi Okazaki, the guy who created Afro samurai, doing the character designs
Haven’t watched an anime in quite some time but this has caught my interest due to the art. Will give it a watch.
By Spinluck Go To PostGurren Lagann is my shit.
That anime was one hell of an experience to watch together with others on the internet. Normally I would watch anime episodes a few days after subs came out but Gurren changed that. It was a whole another experience for me. No anime since has quite lived up to that tbh.
The recent episode of RWBY really annoyed me.
Seriously, they finally introduce Sienna Khan only to be immediately slain by Taurus.

Hey I’m new here. Just finished Assassination Classroom. It was a wonderful show full of endearing characters. The ending cut me deep, especially since I’m a middle school teacher and Koro Sensei’s selfless devotion to his students was so inspiring.
Just started Touken Ranbu. Loving the samurai time police premise and the Ufotable animation is sooo good!

I used to love One Piece but ever since the timeskip I'm lost my interest in it. The stuff with Big Mom right now just isn't grabbing my interest which should be absurd since she is a Yonkou and thus one of the greatest pillars of the One Piece world.
the show is taking a while to get to the BIG showdown but one thing i love about the show/manga is it's ability to show it's character depth. and i have been enjoying sanji's backstory quite a bit.
Came in here to see where the OP fans are at and I'm super glad to have already found some! Love both the manga and the anime and I'm fully caught up on both.
By Qvoth Go To Postthere's a comic thread, anime thread, but no manga thread :<I have no idea how this forum works but if recently joined users with 2 posts to their name can make threads. I will make a manga thread and it will be underwhelming but I'll do it for you Qvoth.

In fact, if that user sees that something he wants to talk about does not fit in an existing thread, he is encouraged to make a new thread.
What got you guys into One Piece? For me it was overhearing someone asking the question "When does Zoro fight the giraffe?" and me being like "I have to know."
I've always wanted to like One Piece. I'm really jealous when I see people enjoy it as much as they do, and I wish I got as much enjoyment out of it. It's just not for me, but at least a lot of other people are loving it!
One day I'll totally get that Kyousougiga sequel, right? Just for me : ( Though if Rie is indeed working on a new original project, that'll do.

I really love Kyousougiga, but I actually dont really feel like it needs a sequel. The story ended nicely so I would rather have something similar but with no old baggage.
What is that about the new original project by the way? I tried to figure out what she has been up to back when I learned she was barely involved in the new Kekkai Sensen but I didnt actually find anything.

Nothing concrete, something that's been rumored since forever. Some animators have been teasing on twitter for a long while and it's a more likely reason than some kind of bad blood due to Kekkai Sensen's production issues. Especially since she was invited back for a storyboard. We'll see though, I suppose.
I didn't mean to come off as something had already been announced, that's my bad.
So is anyone watching anything this season?
I'm watching:
1. The Ancient Magus Bride- I'm really enjoying this show, might be my AOTS. It's got a nice blend of dark moments and whimsical moments., and it has my favourite OP of the season.
2. Juni Taisen- It's alright. I think a lot of people expected a pure battle royal type of show, but it mainly focuses on the characters and their backstories. The animation is pretty great when the action does happen.
3. Food Wars! The Third Plate- It's more Food Wars, and it's awesome.
4. Konohana Kitan- A moe-slice-of-life show. It's nothing amazing, but it's comfy.
5. Recovery of an MMO Junkie- This show is tied with Ancient Magus Bride as my AOTS. It's a really nice show that can get pretty real at times. I also like that the cast comprises of adults and not teenagers, so the love story seems a bit more believable. It also has one of my favourite OP's of the season.
6. Kino's Journey- The Beautiful World- I've never seen the original series, and I've never read the source material. But it's been interesting. I like seeing all these different countries that Kino visits, and how they're all strange or quirky. It gives me a kind of Alice in Wonderland vibe.
7. Blend-S- A really fun show. I don't think I've genuinely laughed at an anime since Konosuba. Most anime have jokes that give me a chuckle here and there, but this show has had me actually laughing.
That's it! I'm watching a lot more this season than the last., so I think it's a decent fall season this year.

I haven't looked into what's new this season. I watched all of season 1 of Little Witch Academia last week for who knows what reason. It was aight, though.

finished kakegurui, what a shit blue-ball ending.
Juni Taisen kinda stupid. I like Nisio Isin's stuff, but this doesn't seem like his best, unless the anime just isn't well adapted.
