Very impressed with Destiny 2 so far. Forsaken has had a good start, with a single player campaign that has been really, really engaging.
I know how tough raids can be, but appreciate that you can play it casually if you want to.

The Endgame is where Destiny shines, there is so much to do and chase.
And if you have the time, check out the lore.

Imagine being such a Marvel stan that you automatically capitalize endgame
I could have enjoyed one of these Ghost Recon games if they'd made them good :(
edit: If you're gonna make a game where you're largely flying drones and helicopters around, come up with a better pop-in solution than whatever this shite is using.

It's a pity that they get a lot of the aesthetics down pat, but most of the armor and guns are at best, average looking. Coming from borderlands 3, the difference between the guns are terribly executed. They really need to give your guns and armor more 'personality'.

By Flutter Go To PostLore is alright, it's good, but on how you can read it could be better.BL has very different goals in mind when it comes to loot. Youre not meant to stick one particular gun for very long. So the weapons are designed through RNG, from the aesthetics to the very perks and mods. Destiny's design philosophy is based on archetypes and doesnt have as many foundries- I think BL3 has like 9 and Destiny has 7 in the lore. I think the armour is fitting for the mix of scifi and fantasy - but I partly agree that the continued use of ballistic based projectiles is kind of lame. Although, if you check your collections tab you can get a preview of the exotic weapons and armour that might meet your expectations.

You should be able to wear all Legendaries when walking around the social hubs
Did they ever change the primary/sidearm system back to how it was in the first game?

I get that the armor is based on archetypes, but let's face it, it could be better.
The fact that some really good looking armor skins are tied to some armor pieces are crap too. Even MMORPGs give you the choice of letting you to choose which armor you want to be visually on you, even though the actual look is different.

Yes the weapons system has been changed back, you can even run a triple shotgun load out if youre crazy enough, but they would all share the same ammo pool.

May download the F2P version
By Flutter Go To PostCan you transmog your armor, to look like another non-eververse armor?Dont know about non-eververse stuff, but I doubt it. The new armour 2.0 system would make it very difficult especially as there is armour in activities like the menagerie, The black armoury and The Dreaming City with specific intrinsic mods.

It's not like FFXIV doesnt have raids too, but they still have a transmog system.

Where are the Destiny lore dumps these days? They weren't in base Destiny 2, and they weren't in grimoire cards either.
In game. Triumphs > grimoire ever was. attached some stuff to items (beyond flavor text, there's pages on some things). Got audio pickups for quite a few questlines. It all plays out much better as you go through missions as well.
Did they ever say why they got rid of the quest book in 2? I really liked it as a way to track my progress and objectives through the complete version of 1.
Unless it has returned in the expansions.

It's worth playing btw Hitch. I have a few problems with it, but nothing major. There's just so many things to do.
Reckon you should get the Forsaken DLC.

You track quests, lore, triumphs and even earn titles that float above your character WoW style.
Oh cool
Always thought there should be a continuous cosmetic reward for beating raids and the like outside of the unique gear that you probably won't even use for long

It's really a good time to get into the game. So much content, and the story has been decent to put.
Refreshing after playing Borderlands 3, since it's a part of a game that I really care about.
Got both Hotline Miamis on the Switch for cheap, beat the 1st one no problem but that 2nd one...it's like they forgot how to make a decent level. I don't think I'm built for this
Clapping cheeks, lads. The 240hz has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for Siege. Solo queued all day, binned the people I was playing with off for being bad melts. Been playing the best I ever have today. Just clutch after clutch, topping the score board match after match.
I definitely feel the difference when peeking/being peeked with the high refresh rate. Like I've got that extra split second to react.

You’ll be fine. There’s a lot of depth to the game, but if you can aim and have good positioning then it’s half the battle.
That whole round was just judging where people are with sound ques, then winning 1v1s with aim and positions.
By DY_nasty Go To PostYou ain't followed to begin withRead enough of it to know it is a crutch to pretend that the game is good...
People been throwing out lore is saving the game since destiny 1
By diehard Go To PostI don't care about the lore at all.I do agree with this...
The game was fun and looked nice while playing.
Got Breath of the Wild. It will take me some time to adjust to Nintendo control scheme.
Need to reset expectations, so I got Res 4.
