By HottestVapes Go To PostAnyone heard good/bad things about V1Tech? Tempted to get one of their backplates.
They’re just matte black acrylic with LED edge lighting, but I think it could look pretty fucking neat
Saw some decent YT reviews, haven't actually personally used them.
By HottestVapes Go To PostIt is, but it’s also fantastic.I could imagine, I was mainly PC before I went to uni, but the idea of lugging my tower 100s of miles twice a year alongside all of my other shit meant I eventually just stopped, and I feel like it has gotten more expensive since.

I think, anyway. Haven't really researched this to be a truth or not.

RAM is sinking to 2011 levels thus far this year, not expected to rise again till 2nd half.
By Adam Go To PostRAM is sinking to 2011 levels thus far this year, not expected to rise again till 2nd half. Why is it expected to rise again?
Why did RAM prices rise so high anyway? I remember the Japanese earthquake had a huge impact, but I would have expected them to drop down a little quicker

Perfect candidate for a small form factor ITX PC!

By HottestVapes Go To PostPerfect candidate for a small form factor ITX PC!I've graduated now, so it's not really an issue anymore
By Smokey Go To PostGet a 2080ti and stunt on these console heux JesalI've added one to my cart basically every month since they were released, but something gets in the way.
Christmas, NY, Valentines, anniversary, girl's birthday have been fucking brutal over the past 4 months.
By JesalR Go To PostWhat was that about a 4080ti?
Only luddites don't have one.

I urge you to reconsider, let me show you the way.
Typical of a horse to say nay.
I follow you on Twitter and this is how you repay me?

I know I need to get the thermal tape on the mosfets for the VRM next but what about the other chips?
Highlighted. Blue, definitely, but are yellow and green required too?
By SUPER YARAK Go To Postwrap it all up better safe than paying child support.Man’s not got enough heatsinks for that.

Barely helps, thanks to the shitty thermal adhesive tape, but good enough.
By unknown Go To Postwhat gfx cards are the best right now? last time i got mine was the gtx 580 lol.
best? 2080ti.
Temps at load are fairly disappointing. 76c, slowly climbing. I was expecting closer to 70-68c.
I’m blaming it on the shitty RGB fans I’ve got under the GPU, gonna flip them around to exhaust and see how it does but I’ll trashing them for Noctuas soon anyway.

By Smokey Go To PostDon't blame RGB fam
They’re genuinely shitty Raijintek RGB fans that I bought ages ago. They look alright, but they’re not built for this yeno?
I might be late but you don't need to cool what's in your blue or yellow stripes,,. those are just ceramic caps.

A tad, I I put thermal pads on the blue and the yellow sections. Left the green. I asked a friend who put a block on his 2080Ti where he put the thermal pads, and he said the yellow and blue sections and the chokes so I just rolled with it. All working now anyway. Next stop is a couple of these.
By unknown Go To Postwhat gfx cards are the best right now? last time i got mine was the gtx 580 lol.Get a 2060 if you don't need it to be 4k/60fps.

I can hit you up with a 1080 if you’re in the UK/Europe.

By Laboured Go To PostJust seen that Palit are doing a 2080ti that actually creeps under £1k. Harsh times out there. It’s not terrible either
By Kabro Go To PostTrue or false.I doubt it since his current card already has RGB lol
Smokey would buy that kingpin addition if it had rgb lights.
