As my son demands a trade, don't trade him to Boston because these hoes ain't loyal

Who the fuck do the Lakers think Ingram is? For them to treat him as untouchable is extreme madness.
someone tell me there's zero chance Brad Beal makes an all-nba team and thus qualifies for a supermax extension

I gotta think they’re playing games. “No, not Brandon he’s too valuable!”
Sunday night/Monday - “Fuck, you all drive a hard bargain! Zo, Zubic, Ingram, Kuzma, two firsts. Don’t even think we should be doing this...” 😈

By domino Go To Postjazz butthurt af looooooolThis hurts their ability to get or even retain free agents. Going to bat for your players is a good look for them.. or they can just be like Ainge/Morey and not give a fuck.
Are people really this stupid?
By DY_nasty Go To PostY'all ain't gotta worry about that re-signing people like Dante Exum…Maybe somebody like Kemba when he decides he wants to go to a real franchise tho
By unknown Go To PostCall me crazy but I don't really want Kyrie since he is injury prone.
He might be the key to getting Durant and Davis though. Brittle knees or not you gotta sign him if they join the ride.
I remember a year ago the NBA was praising Ainge for being the best GM in the league. Look at him now.
Also, thread title ideas. Gonna put up February today.

Jazz are really going to be pissy when Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, and Rudy Gobert all miss the all star game next year

I love that the Celtics passed on trading for PG13 to sign Hayward, it keeps me warm at night.

Same. Need a more solid foundation before building around a guy like that.

But seriously though, Exum should be the first piece the Jazz include in a potential trade for a real PG.

Dell Demps isnt high on Ingram but warm on Lonzo.
Lakers have offered everyone but Lebron and KCP in 5 different scenarios.

So what are your guyses thoughts on ja morant? Feels like the knicks have all the universe energy to land zion and we are going to end up morant. All i’ve seen is that Booker seems to really like him with the supportive tweets he has put out.
ja's good, easy top 3 selection in this draft and you can make a case that he's better than rj barrett
By IWMTB19 Go To PostHayward was good before he destroyed his ankle.PG13 shows us anything, this year for Gordon is never going to be great. He's going to be about 70% at best.
By domino Go To Postjazz butthurt af looooooolExcept that the Lakers had to get it done before the trade deadline. They don't have time to fuck around. NOP are waiting July, when Boston can give them a better package.

But if recent history teaches us anything LA will fuck this up too.

By Red Blaster Go To Postja's good, easy top 3 selection in this draft and you can make a case that he's better than rj barrettYou could but it's bascially a 2 player draft, Zion & RJ, thena group of 3 including Reddish, Morant, and one other guy i forget, then it drops off a tier again.
By s y Go To PostPG was nowhere near this bad/irrelevant though. He was really mediocre last year.
Zion is averaging 22 PPG on 70% while playing great defense.
Feel like he's a pretty easy #1.
George post broken leg: 23/7/4 on 56% TS%. 21 PER, .157 WS/48
Hayward post broken ankle: 11/5/3 on 53.5% TS%. 14.6 PER, .117 WS/48
I can't remember how good defensively George was after his broken leg whereas Hayward has struggled defensively this year.

He's nice. An in control future Westbrook.
By giririsss Go To PostHe was really mediocre last year. How? All his numbers were in line with his previous years last season, great defense too. He put up good/great numbers the year he returned from injury.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostZion is averaging 22 PPG on 70% while playing great defense. There's a few legitimate questions, some not so legitimate.
Feel like he's a pretty easy #1.
Zions jumper is bad. It's blake griffin slow, and doesn't shoot it at a good rate. Particularly from even college 3 range.
He can look lost off ball.
Around the basket you don't see a lot of developed skill: foot work, fakes, post moves.
Then again
He has good touch around the rim.
Good passer
Absurd athlete
Very competitive.
Moves well off the ball.
Really good handle.
The off the ball thing seems odd, but when he's in a set with designed off ball movement, he executes well. When he's not, he seems to just wander around aimlessly. Some of that might be, he's never been on a team where he plays off ball.
You're also not sure how much of the cons, are just because, no one in college can guard him. To contrast him with Tatum. Tatum looked polished in college. Jumper, post moves, fluid. Zion looks like he's till playing highschool ball 1 v 5 at times.
RJ Barret has more directly translatable skills. Good jumper, good passer, great athlete. More rounded skill set and more moves. Better handle too. Now some of that's because RJ isn't the absurd athlete Zion is. He's needed to develop more. But that's the thing, he HAS developed more.
RJ has what would be a much safer skill ceiling and skill set. He's, at worst, Brad Beal. Zion's floor should be draymond. Zions ceiling though is ... an LBJ type run of 10 straight finals?

RJ is only shooting 32% from three and 70% from the line... Not sure he's that safe. If he's not great, then he could be a real bad chucker.
Zion is averaging 1.6 fewer points per game while having a TS% that is 17 points better.

Donovan Mitchels first year was .250, second .350
Mikal Bridges went .299, .393, .435
Like, first year in college shooting .320 is "good" in context.
You had to see Donovan in college
He wasnt that far off of Terrence Williams

Boston fans gotta be sweating that Kyrie will have to decide in half a year if he wants to give Hayward more time before attaching himself to Boston for the foreseeable future. Kyrie in Brooklyn would be fun.
