By Elchele Go To PostNah. Pep relies on the only system he knows and can't adapt it to the players he has available. It doesn't matter if that player is Zlatan, Agüero, Schweinsteiger or Contento. Is not a matter of quality.
A great coach can adapt the system to fit the (great) players he has available. Pep can't.
What a load of fucking horseshit.
In this day and age, a system is more stable than the players you have at your disposal. Plus, you're making it seem like it isn't working with Aguero. It fucking is.
By Oddinho Go To PostThis year is something special for Agüero because he’s stepped up even when told he’s the backup. But is he better than Kane, De Bruyne, Salah? No, but he should still be in the running.
Gimme a spell, he's better than Salah on consistency alone. Mo is a johnny-come-lately and if he's still doing it in five years, let's talk. (He is sex to watch though, I love him). Aguero has been consistent as fuck from the day he pulled on the shirt.
Arnie, don't hate what would never fit you.
By Kermit Go To PostArnie, don't hate what would never fit you. This doesn’t make any sense.

Wasn’t it originally about the player of the year award? Not player of 5 years.

What did I just watch and furthermore why did I watch it to the end.
By Oddinho Go To PostWhat did I just watch and furthermore why did I watch it to the end.Found it in Twitter Moments: some statues with big willys outside the Olympic media center, and the dancing is from that video of naked Willem Dafoe dancing.
the way users in Resetera gets swayed by one of their more popular peers is.... interesting.
There's a few in the Kingdom Come OT saying that one of the more passionate fan's posts made them buy the game.
It's not getting good reviews.

I'd defo trust word of mouth on this game when likely most of the users posting are Kickstarter backers.
By Facism Go To PostShit game made by a shit man.Is there somewhere I can read up on the controversy? Totally in the dark here.
I always find the hive mind approach to game hype a bit bizarre. I’ve definitely been caught up in it but having played less and less games since I went to Uni, and then obviously started working, I’m more detached from the GAF/ERA excitement overload.
A great example was MGS5. It looked shit from the get-go and low and behold turned out to be complete shit. A baffling and nonsensical plot in an era of the franchise nobody asked to revisit.
Now I basically just play Rainbow Six - which is the best game of the generation - or Pro Evo (which actually isn’t that great this year) and whatever game I fancy as a break (finished Lost Legacy, now onto SOTC).
Buzzing for Juventus Spurs tonight. One of those games that cannot be bad. Probably going to get Nando’s.

I'm still 50-50 on MGS5 though.
The story is shit, the third act is unfinished, but the gameplay, graphics, controls, and 60% of the missions are great.

Lately I've been doing a lot of Towerfall with friends. That's the best couch co-op game I've come across in some time.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostI'm still 50-50 on MGS5 though.Sounds fucking rubbish when you consider MGS1, 2 and 3 were masterpieces. 4 was brilliant for two hours, then became a cutscene.

Proper Gamergater.
By Arnie Go To PostSounds fucking rubbish when you consider MGS1, 2 and 3 were masterpieces. 4 was brilliant for two hours, then became a cutscene.Well yeah, storywise it's rubbish. Not to mention why in god's name Kojima decided to alter some of the characters' personalities.
But gameplay wise it's the best of the lot. Theres plenty of ways to complete each mission and controls were a dream.
I had a lot of fun in the missions. I didn't when it come to the story bits, but I'm not going to make it like everything was shit because of that.
if v had followed gz's structure, it'd have been one of the greatest of all-time. gz gave me so much hope, but they just had to ruin it with this open world bullshit.
I wasn't clamouring for another mgs game after 4 and definitely didn't want a sequel, but was happy enough with another prequel
Unfortunately mgsv is absolute shit at the stuff you expect from an mgs. Dropped bollock of a game.

By Freewheelin Go To PostI've not played MGSV yet and probably never will, but it sounds hilariously awfulYeah, when it comes to the story it manages to be worse than MGS4, and that's something.
Sad that but I assume his skull is extremely vulnerable. You don’t want to be an opposition player worrying that any full-blooded contact could split his head in half.
Sucks for Mason.
I’ve eaten very poorly this half term. Lots of biscuits. Reckon I’ve put on 4-5 lbs.

i am purely praising it on reset to annoy them. please understand.

It's far from awful. Really only if you go in wanting the typical MGS experience.
There is some big flaws to the game, but the core gameplay is so fucking satisfying that it kept me going for about 30 hours, which is more than most games do these days. Everything just felt so good. Sadly they seemed to have forgotten to do the actual story of the game, and that shows. I miss the cutscenes, the story and the structure of old MGS quite often, and it became worse and worse as the game kept going. So I never finished it, but would still call it one of the better games I played that year.
Sadly it could have gone from being good to amazing, if Kojima wasn't more interested in making friends in Hollywood, than making his game.
The one time I listened to GAF/Reset hype I ended up purchasing Resonance of Fate.
Never listen to them.
Never listen to them.
Been gyming for the past month or so at 11.30 at night. Tried my first morning session today. Feel like a chubby adonis, but also want to collapse on a couch with a kebab
By Grizzled Cola Go To PostIm starting to become worried about Pogba :(
Mou is a fuel. 4-3-3 would help Poggy and our shit defence. He’s too fixated on the ‘system’ of 4-2-3-1 without thinking about our personnel.
My biggest worry is how Mou is forcing Sanchez into the team. There's no chemistry with our offense yet, and I fear it will be that way for the next few games.
Allah save us.
Allah save us.
Manchester United are shit, and have developed a nasty habit of dulling any talent we sign.
Europa League awaits-

Doesn't change the fact that some players have gotten better in the last 2 seasons. We are in a shit form for a variety of reasons, but that's no excuse for some revisionism.
By Grizzled Cola Go To PostI refuse to believe Mou is so stubborn hell play something that clearly doesnt work til hes fired
Well... Did you watch Chelsea a few seasons ago at all?
