The 1070 video cards have almost all completely price corrected on most sites. The Asus Dual, a card I was gunning for last year and in January was $719, has dropped in price almost 35%, now down to $459.
It's beautiful...

It's like nobody read my post earlier today talking about Nvidia having too much supply and may be a reason new GPUs aren't out.

Genuinely putting thought into a professionally delidded 8700K with a silver IHS. Reckon with a C7 I could run that shit in my DAN case without worrying about thermals. It’s the dream for me rn.
I've finally had enough of my G613's shoddy Caps Lock key (it registers a press by merely resting my finger on it or by brushing against it in passing). I was filing a warranty complaint when I noticed there's a recent (6-JUN-2018) firmware update that "fixes first key detection when device wakes up from deep sleep mode". It was another complaint of mine, albeit less significant than the aforementioned issue, which appears to be mechanical (ehehehelizardmeme.png) in nature.
Just a heads up for my fellow lightspeeders. I recommend downloading the firmware from the site instead of going through Logitech's Gaming Software. Had to repeat the procedure a couple of times before it took.

good look, just updated my firmware.
By Kibner Go To PostDiehard, because I was curious, I found the cheapest Fortinet unit that can do all the UTM features at gigabit speeds, and this is it: https://www.amazon.com/Fortinet-FG-200E-FortiGate-200E-Hardware-Security/dp/B06W2GCMVZHaha that firewall is for a company of like 50-100 people or so. But yeah a lot of those providers still charge a lot because their service/software is so good, you probably just need good hardware.
$2,700 for the FG-200E
lmao, so far out of my price range. I think that would honestly be the price point where it may be cheaper to build my own server to do the same thing just as quickly (using pfSense or something similar).

Then I'll probably pick up that 60E since it seems to be the best bang for the buck for a gigabit connection, even without their subscription service.
But not now. I'll just have to hope future firmware updates come to fix the issues that bother me with my current router.

so you all know how the gsync tax was kinda dumb before?
this is the FPGA on the new 144hz 4k monitors, they still haven't made an ASIC for it. It has 3GB of DDR4-2400 and i would guess is adding about a $5-700 premium to the cost of the monitor.

so my pc has been on some fukshit lately. my monitors will just lose signal and go black, and i have to physically reset each time. i thought maybe my cpu OC was too high relative to its voltage due to it getting up there, but I went in and returned it to stock settings. I can be sitting here just typing and out of no where, the screens will go black, almost like its a gpu driver issue. however, I have used DDU to clean drivers, and install new ones, and yet the problem is still here.
any ideas? the event viewer doesn't tell me shit.

e: i guess you could try reformatting to see if it is a software issue?
make sure your system is creating a memory dump (in system > change settings > advanced > startup and recovery settings > automatic memory dump) then run bluescreenview https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
Theres a better way to do it but it takes more setup to work..

So it is creating a dump
so BlueScreenView is pointing to C:\Windows\MiniDump by default. I looked in that folder, and nothing is there?
hmm, do you have no pagefile or anything? try changing it to small memory dump and see if it makes anything.
Also manually try to select the C:\Windows\memory.dmp file

In the market for an m.2 drive, not necessarily an NVMe (all I do is play games, fams). I just want to consolidate my two current 2.5inch drives into a smaller package. Preferably 1Tb or larger in size.
What's good? The Crucial MX500 1Tb is around £200 which seems good to me, but I don't know shit about SSDs.

By Kibner Go To PostWhere does %SystemRoot% take you when you type it into file explorer?
No where. Says "Windows can't find 'C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP'. Check the spelling and try again'"

Looked last night and again just now, that .dmp file isn't there either. Maybe because it's not a hard crash? My PC stills stays on, but the screens go black. Like a display driver failure. It's really random when it happens. Everything is on stock, used DDU for multiple clean driver installs, did a fresh W10 install a few months ago. IDK what else it could be.
