What a session, wtf were Kimi and both RBRs doing ??
Lewis pole, Vettel reasonable P2 and both RACING POINT FORCE INDIA F1 on p3/4 brilliant

By Spengo Go To PostRIP Kimi and Red Bull.If they knew tire was gone, Max did not improve 2nd lap, there was time to get new ones. Or do what others did and accept tires are gone, but track so much quicker you still gain time, was weird.
Have to listen to the interviews to hear their line of thought on this, maybe fuel and no time? ....still guessing ;)
RPFI had bit of luck that their bad call to stay out meant they had better tires at the end, Perez was pushing his luck though :p
And Bottas moment :whoopsy:
And yes interview Max, not enough fuel to do more laps, pitsstops to good

looks dry, but with all the drivers out of their normal place, race should be fun!

Pics if you can! Hope you get to hear how loud they are, as the sound is incredible.
Think we get a tasty race today, I feel like vettel is due some luck so can see him winning.
Lewis and Sebastian hitting each other in Les Combes and Kimi ending up winning would be nice and add a Max podium for Spengo ;)
More serious, should be good race, at least first third, so many cars out of position and a track were you can overtake. Sebastian should have learned from last year and not be to close in Eau Rouge like last year and he should be able to take Lewis up the hill at Kemmel straight. Than again Lewis knows so maybe let Vettel overtake in La Source (poor start) and be the one doing the hunting?
Hope they all come cleanly through La Source after the start.

Great start by sebastian, no errors this year and deserved win. With no Kimi Lewis looses only 7 points in the WC and if he can keep that similar in Monza than he still has a chance. Max error free and nice move on Ocon means maximum result with that power unit :(
RPFIndia good weekend and Haas gaining ground on Renault in the constructors championship.
On to Monza, track were Ferrari should put the maximum pressure with both drivers on Lewis.
Yeah, I mean it is hard to say what would have happened to Charles, but Alonso car bounced of the Halo. So it is fair to assume it would have fallen on to his helmet and would have probably seriously injured him.
I was at the Kemmel Straight and got to see Vettel overtake Hamilton in the opening lap. That Ferrari just has the legs. Also saw Max challenging the Force India's putting on a good show for the fans. I'm happy he made the podium.

And yeah was great for Max to have another faultless race, specially in front of his fans, so he could forget those past races at Spa.
We are racing back to back and for round 14 we are of to Monza Italy for the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO HEINEKEN D'ITALIA 2018.
Classic high-speed track with three corners, three chicanes to let speed not get out of control and for the rest it is long straights and the home of the many many Ferrari fans in Italy and around the world.
Favourites, I would give 1st sector to Ferrari, acceleration out of slow chicanes and last to Mercedes as on top end of the power range they still can compete and a high speed corner (Parabolica). So comes down to set-up, middle sector (Lesmos) for me who comes out on top, but it finally could be the year a Ferrari wins in Italy.
Both RBRs will get the new spec C engine from Renault, one that isn't going to be used by Renault it self (read i that what you want, not reliable enough?). With DannyRic already having used his pool of 3 engines, means starting at the back of the grid, Max still has one free engine left.
And will we hear more about the near future of Ocon ? Rumours keep being there that daddy Stroll wants his son in his recently bought RPFI for the Singapore race and that could mean no seat for him. If Perez stays at RPFIndia for next year, it night be even tough for him to find a seat for next year.
[edit] And about that new Renault Engine that is in DannyRic's car
FP1
Wet sesssion, drying more and more but all laps on inters (except Vettel, but he had gearbox issues so no inter running). More laps than normal, they probably got one extra set of wet weather tires.
Max Parabolica when it was still really wet
And 2019 draft calender:

Blimey. Those stewards may just have shit their pants.

FP2
Ferrari looked just ahead of Lewis, Bottas behind them and RBR 5/6 tenths slower as top 2. Midfield engine driven so Haas/RPFI, like in Spa, look best bet for best of the rest.
Vettel off Parabolica:
By markao Go To PostLast few years I heard from few people that Spa was getting to busy, only Friday still more or less OK.They weren't kidding. It turned into a real shitshow when everyone left and we sat idle in the parking lot for hours because no one was regulating the traffic at the exit.
RPFI sleeping, track improvement and Perez out in Q1 :blushing:
Stoffel slowest again and surprisingly both Saubers out, but was so close in the midfield :wow:
Bottas almost loosing it on wet patch

yes and Vettel P2, so close, probably not impressed by lack of Kimi tow
Max was quicker in Q2, but still 1.5 secs for the RBRn and Grosjean top, also Carlos in the Renault!!

Lets hope that Kimi leads after the 1st lap with Lewis second, so Ferrari cannot call in team orders.
But than again, what are the chances that Kimi has a top qualifying, a top start and top race in one weekend ?

Yes go Lewis, looked like a great move and Vettel who did not want to yield
have to see replays

By Kidjr Go To PostEnjoying this race hahaha get fucked ferrariproper racing from the get go, great stuff!!
Mercedes beats Ferrari as team and Lewis takes the win, great racing from them! And further ahead after two races were you expected Seb to close the gap in the WC.
Max moved just fraction to much, shame because that took away a really good fight between them, but justified penalty.
Grosjean best of the rest and more necessary points for RPFIndia
Max with the hard squeeze and the spicy radios. 100% prefer that over drivers who only act like a total company man.

#GOMAX ;)
No agree, but if he rewatches it he probably will see he moved over just a little to much. He did the same few laps later, but left just enough room
