That’s crazy. I really wish Halloween would have just gone down the anthology route like Carpenter originally wanted
I remember seeing an interview with Carpenter where he said he stopped caring at some point and just told them to send the check.
Two more teasers.
I really like the idea of Laurie being an outcast in the woods, spending her whole life getting ready for an eventual return of Michael.

That's what I read too. Looks interesting af.
Yes, this is basically a sequel to the first movie. Every sequel doesn't exist in this timeline.
This is written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, who also directs. Yes, the guys behind Pineapple Express and Your Highness made a Halloween movie and they had the blessing of John Carpenter, who serves as a composer, executive producer and creative consultant after being away from the franchise since Halloween 3.

Edit: Fede Alvarez is the director. I am a bit more interested now.

Man, this looks so good!!!
IN
I don't expect much from Ocean's 8, but I will go watch it.
By comparison, I still haven't seen the rebooted Ghostbusters movie and have no interest in doing so.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostOnly thing decent about Ghostbusters was Kate McKinnon.
Ocean's 8 looks alright.
Kate McKinnon was the worst thing about the movie. Her character seemed like someone from an entirely different movie

This looks fucking amazing
Just watched Mission Impossible, it's aged pretty damn well
Bit weird that it reveals to the viewer that Jim was the mastermind even as he's supposedly convincing Ethan that the other agent is behind it all. Almost-rape scene is strange, to say the least.

Hereditary was good.
Film maintained tension nearly the entire run time, some goofy choices aside it's probably the most well made horror film I've seen since The Witch or It Follows.

Ocean's 8 is let down by its director, Gary Ross. He doesn't appear to have the chops to make a fun movie around a heist of the fucking Met Gala. Everyone is the cast is fine, Anne Hathaway being the absolute standout because she's having the most fun and lets the movie make fun of her to a certain degree. It's just so unexciting that it must be compared to all of Soderbergh's trilogy and Logan Lucky that used a NASCAR race and kills it with creativity and a tight knit group of characters.
By Laboured Go To PostClaire Foy's getting a lot of work.I wonder if she was paid the same as Gosling.

I'd work for free to work alongside Ryan 2.
