So I got a new job starting on Feb 26. Finally gonna be using my degree and really happy I won't be working at a piece of crap MLM anymore. But really sad about leaving my coworkers. Made such good friends with all of them. I know it's easy to keep in touch and hang out, but still got me feeling sad.

You liked it in DC during your last visit yeah? The weather though ... ouch
By Smokey Go To PostHawaii to DC?Island life always sounds great. But it has huge drawbacks. I've known a few people who have come back after moving to islands.
breh
The isolation, the lack of same/options for services, everything tends to be more expensive (has to get shipped in). The isolation. If you're still working, the lack of career options. Even the schooling options are more limited.

Island fever is real. I could deal with it when it comes with a backyard bbq daily though. I’m fairly certain
I think I'm finally done sulking. Feel like I spent the last 4 months trying to be someone I wasn't and getting strung along by someone before realizing what LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE I KNOW told me which is to stop being stupid.

By s y Go To Postjesus christ, i ended up making more than i thought I would when I got health insurance last year now I owe 256$My gf said if she didn’t have health coverage for the full year she would have been penalized $690.
fucking thanks obama.
Such a weak ass penalty that if I didn’t need health insurance I’d just take the penalty. I get $75 taken out each check which comes out to $1950, almost 3 times more.
I almost forgot how expensive it is. When I worked at Home Depot they offered me their plan, they wanted $175 a paycheck for the most garbage health insurance ever. That whole system needs to be burned to the ground and started over again.
nothing made me want to get a better job like going to the doctor last month and then having to pay out of pocket and then going to the pharmacist and hearing the OD prices my meds were going to cost.
have trash insurance brehs.

i discovered i've been living wrong for far too long
i always liked those t-shirt style bedsheets from college up to now even though as a kid i always had pretty nice sheets.
had a woman over a few weeks ago and she was pretty critical about the quality of my sheets. i've never been called out for that before so i figure maybe she's right. kohls has some january sales lets get some better ones. got some that are 500 or 600, cant remember off the top.
i've never felt so comfortable in bed. hopefully the next woman enjoys them because it didn't work out with the last one.

It's my opinion that when able, you should spend as much as you (comfortably) can on a bed. People underestimate what a good bed will do for you , and shit you spend most of your life sleeping.

Wipes are life changing
By Smokey Go To PostWipes are life changingBad for sewers tho
By NinjaFridge Go To PostBad for sewers thoYeah, it has actually fucked up a lot of sewage treatment plants. They don't break down as well as they should and get caught, stuffing up all the filters until someone can go and manually scrape them off.

Switching to a bed, from a futon, was life changing. Might as well have been singing The Jefferson's theme song when I finally got it in my room.
500 or 600 count?

Today I learned that the high school teacher that basically ruined my senior year is now an Amazon Flex driver and I feel great.
I can't believe a dude that once told me he couldn't help me because he had to go to tennis practice isn't teaching anymore.
