By The Frankman Go To PostThat's nothing. I saw teens in the Midwest work on their post game by posting up a cow.this can't be real
By The Frankman Go To PostThat's nothing. I saw teens in the Midwest work on their post game by posting up a cow.I mean. That doesn't even make sense.
It makes total sense. Its in the same line of thinking as "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball".
So if you can dribble a ball with a rope slowing you down while you're dribble around a tire and on dirt, you can dribble on a court.

There's being an old school person, then there's just being dimwitted.
By giririsss Go To PostExcept cows are only wide. And don't really move. And aren't agile. And can't jumpThere is an Alex Len joke somewhere in there
Also don't think he was talking about the cow making sense... it was the tire drill combined with a dodgeball quote
It makes perfect sense. Cows are wide and have alot of beef but don't move well, so you gotta be tough and use your body to back it in the low post, then spin around it using good footwork.

By reilo Go To PostI like it.I hate it, but whatever. It'll get changed back to the current format when good-ish teams keep winning the lottery and bad teams are punished with picks that don't really help them out of their hole. The reason we have this format is because people got pissed when the Magic won the back-to-back Shaq and Chris Webber lotteries. What short memories we have.
The lottery is stupid and doesn't do anything to disincentivize tanking. It mostly just hurts the teams that actually need the help.

Is Tony Allen going to start? He is locker room cancer when he doesn't.
Maybe this offseason humbled him. He was kinda bad last year. He kept gambling when he no longer has the athletic ability to get back.

Not a star or anything. But ok?
By jjasper Go To PostIs Tony Allen going to start? He is locker room cancer when he doesn't.No fucking idea. It's a fight between him, Darius Miller, E'Twuan Moore, and Jordan Crawford.

I was sort of remembering a athletic guy, who was a mediocre shooter that was stuck behind KD for playing time.
Seems in the year KD left he didn't really force the coaches hand to put him on the floor and that speaks volumes about the trajectory of his career. (Earning more on his rookie deal than most will in their life)
I remember watching him at Baylor and he was soft and disinterested as fuck but because he was so tall and athletic he was able to put up decent numbers. All he wanted to do was play on the perimeter and jack shots. Then he got to the NBA and was playing against guys who were as athletic or more so than him and it looked like it broke him mentally.

There's a subplot in Season 3 of Suits where there is a bidding war for Deron Williams between the Nets and Mavs and there's a line about him being the key to a championship squad. It's 2013, I'm dying.
