Ryan Murphy's new show, Feud, starts on Sunday but FX has already renewed it.
First season is about the behind the scenes drama between between Bette Davis (played by Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) during the production of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?".
Season 2 will be about Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Created by David Fincher, the show will take place in 1979 and will be about 2 FBI agents who interviewed serial killers who had been captured and how that gave way to profiling. It's based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside The FBIโs Elite Serial Crime Unit from John E. Douglas who developed most of the profiling techniques used still today. Jack Crawford and Will Graham were based on him.
Fincher and Charlize Theron pitched the show to HBO 6 years ago but they never picked it up so Fincher went to Netflix after developing House Of Cards for them. Charlize Theron was supposed to star initially but she wasn't available due to conflicts of schedule, she is still an executive producer on this.
I'm really liking Legion. The actor is from Downton Abbey. Good for him.. everyone thought he was crazy for quitting the show to try and make it in America.
Matthew Weiner's Netflix project revealed:
Weโre doing an actual anthology โ and I say it that way because the word is used for different purposes now than it was when I was growing up. Theyโre contemporary, but every single episode โ and there will be eight โ has a different cast, a different story and a different location. The thing that holds them together is that all of the stories involve people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Romanov [family, the last imperial dynasty to rule Russia. The mystery surrounding the family dates back to 1918, when revolutionaries brutally murdered Tsar Nicholas II and much of his family. But the remains of one of his daughters, Anastasia, long served as a mystery, with lore suggesting she'd survived the tragedy and taken on a new identity. In the years since, many have claimed to be Romanov survivors.] And thatโs the title of the show, The Romanoffs. [Weiner's spelling choice reflects the pronunciation as well as the way the family name was commonly spelled until recently.]http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/matthew-weiners-amazon-series-revealed-russian-royals-mad-men-ties-50m-budget-982167

Saw the first episode of Feud. It was pretty good, I like stories about the old Hollywood and the rivalry between Bette Davies and Joan Crawford, which led to lots of drama during the shooting of "What Happened To Baby Jane?", is legendary.

Both actresses are perfect for their roles, lol. Bitchy as hell.
Anybody seen the new Netflix show Green Field ?
Black ministrial family with a secret to hide and a long lost daughter returning.
Not to bad the first couple of episodes.

There isn't anything on TV that's as mind bendy and creative in a horror way like Legion. The show is a God damn trip. Thank God for FX network.

riverdale is a little too teeny boppy to really be a spiritual successor to twin peaks, but I'm finding these characters to be really likable
only two episodes in but will probably finish out the season

I thought with Always Sunny they ushered in a new time with FX & FXX ?
Shield still GOAT though.
Caught this show called Granchester on PBS a few weeks ago - found out both seasons were on Amazon video and ended up watching 8 hours of it in one sitting the other night. British detective show, basically pretty much your standard clergy-plays-detective story, but the main characters are well done and looks great. If you like brit detective stuff, check it out.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWatched all 12 episodes of S2 of Love in one go.I'm going to give it a try. I really hated both of the leads in season one though. They seemed to take turns from episode to episode annoying me.
It was quite good.
I just dropped Crashing on HBO in the middle of episode 3.
Just finished watching Legion #5 and I can't get this song out of my head after the last 10 minutes of the episode

By LFMartins86 Go To PostI thought that Days Of Future Past was good and The Wolverine was quite alright.First half of DoFP was great but then it sank pretty quick.
I liked they went The Hand route but they should of adapted the comic arc instead of what they went with.
Seeing Logan next week, I'm Hyped for real.
I dont understand why I keep watching 24.
Its probably one of the worst directed shows I've seen. ever

American Gods is getting amazing buzz from its SXSW premiere. Bryan Fuller adapting Neil Gaiman with Ian McShane starring? Yesss pls.
Judd Apatow has three of the worst shows on TV going concurrently right now.
Girls, Crashing and Love have some of the most punchable characters I've ever seen. I've never rooted for most leads to suffer painful deaths before like I have for these three programs. Whiney, shallow, short minded narcissists that can only be explained by having severe mental illnesses which isn't the ideal backbone for a comedy.
The two leads in Love behave so irrationally that it's amazing the actors even agree to play these parts. They're so awful from scene to scene.

I know people like the leads of Love. Guys who think themselves like they are great guys when they really aren't and definitely women like Mickey.
I quite liked the second season of Love, enough to binge watch it in one go. It's like a lesser good version of You're The Worst.

You're the Worst at least has charm. None of these Apatow shows seemingly do, which is weird considering all of the scumbag characters he's written for his movies at least had that going for them.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostI know people like the leads of Love. Guys who think themselves like they are great guys when they really aren't and definitely women like Mickey.Gus is an awkward weirdo with zero self awareness. The fact he fancies himself a good guy is secondary to him being FUCKING WEIRD. People don't act like that. And if they do, they don't have massive noses like he does for very long.

Micky is irrational and seems to be written in a way to make her intentionally shortsighted/tempered and unlikable. But then Gus is so fucking weird that it doesn't even matter. Micky is clearly mentally ill but the show isn't mature enough to suggest this. Instead they just paint her as emotionless (bitches be loco) which is lazy.
Much like Girls it's the supporting characters that are likable and funny. The woman that works with Micky is hilarious.
Not enough love for Black Sails here or elsewhere. I've been enjoying the fuck outta S4. Final season. :(
Halfway through S1 of Quarry. Another criminally underrated show.
Have yet to start on the new The Americans season. How was the premiere?

Black Sails got lots of people around the world saying to themselves "THAT'S what keel-hauling means ๐ฌ๐๐"
Feud is off to a cracking start. The second episode was great. It's a terrific look at the backstage of 60's cinema.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostLegion has been renewed for a second season.Nice. Are there only 8 episodes for season 1? More questions just keep opening up. This feels like if Mr Robot ran season 2 as season 1.
