Just saw that apparently Capcom told GameInformer the infinity stones function more like grooves from CvS2
There wasn't a time when assists weren't broken.
Colossosus was everywhere in MvC1.
Psylocke enabled Magneto's bullshit.
That's actually pretty cool.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is really good! The platforming handles much better than Uncharted. Now if they'd just tone down the combat.
The best thing about Sleeping Dogs was when you had cops you could just kill them off and you wouldn't have to deal with that shit anymore
nobody likes evading the cops in these games. yet they continue to do it.

I've heard good things about the port.
I mean the netcode sucks but you're gonna get that with almost every fighting game if we want to be real

By data Go To PostI've heard good things about the port.Port seems fine. There's weird audio issues though, like Frank's plunger normals having zombie sound effects.

Now if they'd just tone down the combat.I didn't really mind the shooting since it's generally pretty fun. I think the only times it really bogs down for me (and this goes for the first game, too) is when it becomes straight combat. I think the boss fights are a bit needless, too.
But what a great game and really stunning to look at, too.
Humanitarian crisis averted, I found out you can reset the Vita's database by putting in a fresh card, and fortunately my 32gb wasn't corrupted, so that let it read it again.
I also found out you have to manually go in to each game's live page, tap the plus icon at the top, then select it individually for it to back up online. Even if you've already selected auto-backup in the system menu. No idea why Sony overcomplicated things like that.
It also won't backup PSP/PS1/mini saves online, either. You have to use the content manager & connect it to a PC for that; I'm guessing they didn't think to split out the saves for those types of games individually in the OS when they designed those APIs originally.
This has been a learning experience, to say the least. On the plus side, now I can get Mark of the Wolves trophies. I played the living heck out of that game on Dreamcast.

Wound up buying Dragon Quest 7 off Amazon for the 3DS. Won't have time for it anytime soon but it seems like the kind of thing that would go out of print.

You won't have time for it ever, unless you retire. That is one long fucking game.

Is it on the most current firmware?
By data Go To PostI've heard good things about the port. The audio glitches are fucking with me mang. Why can't Capcom do these in-house or ask the original devs to port it. Damn.

Anybody try that f2p Let it Die yet?

Yep.
Garou is out on PS4 now and I'm just sitting here wondering when the hell will Rage of the Dragons get a proper release?
By blackace Go To PostAnyone doing Dead Rising 4???I heard they want a matoor story now with drama and loss and pain. To ensure the longevity of a series that became successful because of cheese and hilarity.
What a shame.
I'm not done with it yet, and it's still one of my favorite games of the year... but there's a glaring set of issues in Watch Dogs 2 that could have bumped it from 4/5 stars to 5/5 stars for me. And it's not even that hard of a change. It is entirely in how the game is balanced. Mostly in regards to combat.
Prey sounded interesting but man they need to work on their monster designs
Anyone tried Let it Die yet? Downloading it right now

Played Let it Die for a few hours earlier.
Has a lot going on in terms of systems and mechanics. Seems alright so far. Its definitely different.

Sounds like it has some launch issues - people getting disconnections & having their characters wiped - but I'm hoping it takes off, just because I want to see the studio do well.

Jank
By Smokey Go To PostJankThe controls are just bad. No way to get around that. The game always wants you to take your fingers off the sticks... super? dodge? block? jump? crap camera at the same time? yeah, no. You're just telling me to die.
On top of that, the durability of items seems absurdly low. No reason shit should be flying off into dust in the middle of a fight. I understand roguelike and all that, but for a brawler there's just gotta be more consistency. Items are souls-tier too. Constantly wondering what shit does (if it changes) and what its value is overall. Can't tell what enemies can do until they hit you with it.
Its just all over the place - and it sucks because I really like the look and vibe from the game. Deleting. Gonna pick up Warframe again lol...

Looks like F2P Demon Souls, so no thanks.
By Kidjr Go To PostWhat do be people think of death stranding?Hard to have an opinion on the game when there's 0 information on it other than it has famous people.
The Zodiac DLC that comes with Watch Dogs 2 doesn't do a good job of selling future DLC. I figured I wouldn't come back for that stuff despite enjoying the base game and if the Zodiac DLC is any indication, I definitely won't.
By RobNBanks Go To PostHard to have an opinion on the game when there's 0 information on it other than it has famous people.
Tone, feel, guess what the game is about is what I meant.
I for one am stoked
Watch Dogs 2 does an incredibly good job of the characters it has. The way Marcus talks with each one is very different. It doesn't feel like he's putting on a show it's just that he knows to have a different mentality with each person and what they value and what they don't.
The issue is there's one character in particular that they pretty much ignore then try to cash in on in a cheap way that doesn't work because they were a complete afterthought all the way up to that point.

There's also a mission where the dialogue is entirely the average gaf thread. Which is then followed by the most relateable mission ever to any minority, I imagine doubly so for a black person.
I forgot how much fun Bowser's Inside Story was. Why the fuck did I trade it in so many years ago? Glad work was selling it for a buck.
Also the recent reviews for American Truck Simulator are back up to Overwhelmingly Positive so it sounds like the rescale beta was a big hit.
Goddamn this new Hitman game is incredibly fun. Love setting up assassinations then walking away without anyone knowing or finding me. Badass.

generic question but whats a game on pc that doesn't really require a lot of skill to play but is fun. i bought overwatch but am afraid to play it since i don't have the time to not be garbage. this is probably the biggest reason why i dont play most of the games i end up getting, idk
For multiplayer? Overwatch is your best bet.
You can play anything and have fun though, worrying about the skill aspect is only if you want to get to the higher ranks. There's nothing stopping you from playing CSGO for example.
