And missed, still on
2 points from these 2 games is dreadful.
Worse than that is we absolutely should have lost both games and only didn't because the other teams are absolutely wank and its obvious why they are in a relegation fight. I don't think we had a shot on target of note across both fucking games.

Needed reinforcements upfront in the summer everyone could see that. Instead of doing that we scrambled at the last minute to get Sterling, glad Edu has fucked off honestly.
Bullshit pen, but we need to score our chances… Chelsea is a must win or the season is in full tailspin.
I think this might be the first time Benfica has enjoyed a long stint of possession near the Bayern box, we are on the 85th minute.
By Fergie Go To PostWhere's Sterling. Is he not cash money anymore?Never was.

Bring Lookman, Nwaneri and N. Williams to Plasma.

God I wish. But the way the club is run now even if he was offered on loan again I reckon they turn it down due to having 3 players who compete in that position already :(

We fucking should, like. But this squad for both seasons in the Champ has looked at what a neutral would see as a banker 3 points for us and just not turned up.
By Scum Go To PostPerfect, I have the song already sorted for RAWK on his arrival. To the tune of agadoo;
🎶We've got Tchou Tchou🎶

By WoodenLung Go To Postdonnarumma really certifying his fraud statusI'm enjoying that waaaay too much
I get getting Sterling, but why is he getting 0 minutes then? Does Arteta not trust the guy he got? Why did we loan out Viera and sell ESR, leaving us with 0 AM cover? A summer window which as the season goes on makes less and less sense

I was expecting him to be one of the best players in the league this season but it's not showing that at all.
1 assist in 8 games and that was on a 5-0 win.
By LFMartins86 Go To Postwe have no idea what to do with our possession. Still, Benfica's GK was outstanding today
One of the games of all time. Not impressed with Bayern at all.
Ahaha, Benfica's press director was caught whispering to Benfica's manager to "assume the responsibility" in the middle of the press conference.
This is hilarious.
This is hilarious.
Some big names today with John Barnes, Rio Ferdinand, & David De Gea but weak in centre midfield and full backs.
Gigi Riva is considered to be one of the best players of his generation, as well as one of the greatest strikers of all time. Riva enjoyed a remarkable scoring record for Cagliari, thanks to his composure in front of goal, powerful left foot and aerial ability; his speed, strength and eye for goal led the Italian journalist Gianni Brera to nickname him "Rombo di Tuono" (Roar of Thunder). He was runner up in Ballon d'or in 1969 and finished third in 1970. He scored 35 goals in 42 appearances, remaining Italy's all-time goalscorer.

I really am surprised by how few goals the top scorers for Italy have scored
For context, there are 6 players who have scored 40+ for England.
Baggio & Del Piero both have 27 goals over their international career. That is the same as David Platt, who accomplished that feat in 29 games less than Del Piero played and only 6 more games than Baggio.

There is an absurd amount of hype around Amorim now that he's confirmed for United. I know this isn't your fault, Utd fans, but you know the blowback from rival fans is going to be equal and opposite if he doesn't immediately live up to expectations.
An early defeat or two would probably be better for Amorim's long term prospects that a winning streak. Tamper down expectations that he'll come in and suddenly drive United up into the CL places and let him have realistic expectations going into his first full season
Don't even think there's going to be much expectation of instant impact with Amorim tbh, due to the fact he's likely to completely change the system and has to work with a ton of Eridivisie trash until the next major window
I still expect a decent improvement though, but it'll be a bumpy road this season i'd bet

I think we should judge Amorim against Klopp, who had an instant impact, so anything other than that is an abject failure punishable by firing and replacement with Erik Eleven Bags

This season will just be a long pre season for Amorim, to see who fits in his system. Still think he will bring an enthusiasm and connection with the players that will improve United.
Coventry sacking Robins a few days before their big day out of the year. Never saw this coming.
Their fans on Twitter are gutted. FF pls.

Becoming increasingly convinced that England's best functioning XI does not involve Bellingham or Foden.
Perfect opportunity to dump Foden with his shite form and Carsley knowing he'll be leaving, but he's still too cowardly. What a chump
By LFMartins86 Go To PostAbsolutely disgusting.
Even the CL social media is embracing Amorim Ball.
Jealous.
Hall called up, he's been our best player this season comfortably. Absolutely massive improvement even from the first game against Southampton where I thought he was quite poor

Just woke up to the news. Did I manifest this?
By Dr3up Go To PostAbsolutely disgusting.Pedro Gonçalves (the player who makes the assist) has been consistently putting great numbers with 28 G/A in 20/21, 29 in 21/22, 35 in 22/23, 35 again in 23/24 and already 11 this season despite being injured for a month and half, shows up against big teams like this assist against City and the wonder goal against Arsenal but still gets ignored in the National Team
Jealous.
