If anything I see them playing things even safer with future releases.....yes? Sony supporting dreams for as long as they did is about 10x more risky than greenlighting the 6th entry of a successful action game series.
Can you imagine Sony green lighting something like Arnoured Core VI? I canāt.
Was tempted to get the midnight black DS5 but my launch controller is still going strong. Battery life on it has always been a bit odd though, sometimes it lasts about ten hours, sometimes it's scraping four.
I don't mind opening up hardware and repairing it myself but apparently this things a pain to get into.
Didn't seem that complicated when I took it apart to add paddles, though it admittedly did not require to dig in particularly deep. I seem to remember the triggers being fully exposed, but maybe I'm wrong.

A plastic spudger and a screwdriver is all you need. Only difficulty in disassembly is if you need to do a full shell swap because the trackpad is glued in. Not something youāll need to bother with though.
Man, I wish Stalker had better shooting controls. It's tough to tell when your shots are even landing, track assist feels terrible, and the sensitivity is ridiculously low when aiming down the sights.
Loving everything else besides the janky menus. Gonna have to retrieve my PSN password to see what mods are available on console.

Dreams was 4 years ago? Media Molecule was close to closing not that long ago too.
I just donāt see Sony taking on any big risks any time soon. If the end result of the buy out is Dark Souls 4 and/or Elden Ring 2, then I canāt say Iāll be disappointed. I will be pleasantly surprised if they just leave FROM Software to make whatever they like and we see more one off titles, 2 year dev time DLCs and sequels to AC.

Nah. I mean it's mindless fun, but the grind is a big part of it. There was a competition sponsored by Activision on who could reach Prestige Master first (i.e. Prestige 10x). Once you hit Prestige Master there's another 1000 levels on top of that.
