What did people think of The Outer Worlds? For some reason I’m really wanting to dive into a WRPG after finishing Ghost of Tsushima.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat did people think of The Outer Worlds? For some reason I’m really wanting to dive into a WRPG after finishing Ghost of Tsushima. From what I remember you'll have seen everything worth seeing halfway through the first main planet, the anti-corporation stuff is so one-note and on-the-nose that it just becomes annoying after a couple of hours, and the combat isn't much better than Fallout's.
im not even slightly exaggerating when saying that rogue trader is probably the best wrpg out behind baldurs gate 3
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat did people think of The Outer Worlds? For some reason I’m really wanting to dive into a WRPG after finishing Ghost of Tsushima. An actual, genuine 5/10. Bang average game.
I had not considered that they are just going to stuff the first game full of the worst character hero lighting you have ever seen.

Dying at people being actually mad that the SH2 remake is good. Gamers are such losers
There hasn’t been a good one since 2004 and even that is being very generous

it isnt being generous. the room was good, despite its flaws.
By WoodenLung Go To Postit isnt being generous. the room was good, despite its flaws.Conceptually it was fantastic but actually playing it? Garbage
Give me a remake of that now

oh would much rather have had a remake of that or sh1, than sh2 which is still fantastic to play, at least with the enhanced patch.

Idk the quiet moments work for me (and I don't think the high points would hit as well without the down time), even though I'd like the side quests to be a bit more involved and polished. In principle using them as vehicles to flesh out the world and characters is fine, it's just obvious all the main story encounters ate up the entire budget.

My main criticism of the game is that Clive and Jill haven't fucked yet and this is just getting ridiculous. Clive you're an absolute baka m8.
mid is actual brain rot
the lead up to the titan fight ugh.... that could've been a GREAT transition.

My main problem with that fight was that stupid music that seems mostly not in keeping with the rest of the game. Like they snuck in a track from DMC or Metal Gear Rising.

You expect me to see this as a bad thing?
