Seven Grand for whiskey if you’re downtown.
It really depends where you’re stay too. Each area has good bars

By Call Sign: Apollo Go To PostThe new lines are open so you should look into staying in Little Tokyo. LA Live area is fucking boring as fuck. All the good shit is near Little Tokyo, Arts District, and that area of DT.Little Tokyo is nice just because it's a walkable area with good food. I like to go to Marugame Monzo Udon.
Also a few of my friends went to this place and claim it’s the best sushi in the states https://instagram.com/715sushi?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
When I visit I stay in Little Tokyo or Koreatown. Exclusively take the metro or Lyft. My car doesn’t move until I checkout to leave
You should also check out Sabores Oaxaquenos for Oaxacan style Mexican food. There is a good article on the place here

Thanks, that was #1 on my list. Glad it is actually a place locals recommend.
As for other areas, a friend of mine recommended me a bar called Gold Room on sunset boulevard. He said he loved it when he lived there ten years.
