By Daz Go To PostGood goal by Brazil. From what I can tell it's a bit of a Euros situation but FIFA haven't gone for the half-measure like UEFA have to keep the group stage interesting.
But most of these games have been so lopsided.
Why are top seeded teams playing part timers?
Too exclusionary and small for 16 teams, not enough good teams for the full 32 without ending up with a shitload of bad matches.
Not sure how it compares to the men's World Cup in terms of the number of teams that just can't compete. Unfortunately these growing pains kinda have to be openly visible to people who will use them to dismiss the whole thing, just have to hope it's not so bad that they lose people who are already onboard.
By Cleff Go To PostLeeds implosion 2: Nuclear BoogalooNeed to know how much decent service they got out of those players in the interim. If the answer to that is basically nothing, it's almost criminal negligence.
By Cleff Go To PostLeeds implosion 2: Nuclear BoogalooThat's twisting the reality a bit. Most of those players have just gone on loan.
They bought Rodrigo for about 25 mil and have got 3 back on him, they sold Tyler Roberts too but only lost about 2 mil on him. Everyone else has just been a loan.
By Laboured Go To PostToday just keeps getting worse for Spurs. Massive snub.
By Scum Go To PostHas Kane left yet, Willi?Yeah
By Daz Go To PostThe pizza looks pretty good at least. American prices at entertainment venues are just insane. :( At all but the Atlanta Falcons/United stadium that is.

I am no pizza snob but that looks like the type of pizza you'd get out of a school cafe back in the day and they were NOT bussin'.
That pizza is loaded with shit banned in the EU and Canada. It most assuredly does not look good lol. It's unreal the amount of stuff Americans put into their food that isn't fit for consumption anywhere else.
By n8 dogg Go To Postlegacy pizza shit
Would be a smart replacement.
In other news, Celtic made a new signing. They have 5 Japanese and 3 Korean players now which is pretty interesting.

Maybe that’s nostalgia.
By Laboured Go To Postimagine if they loan him out to Saudi Arabia lol
I doubt he'll agree. Probably will stay at PSG and make them gain money via UCL wins

By Laboured Go To PostLooks like the defensive problems have been fixed.Nope but Salah <> Darwin combo has looked lethal in pre-season so watch out m5
Considering some of the reheated shit I have been served at football grounds that pizza looks alright.

Huh, not sure if Elon did something weird with twitter embeds again, but here is the image and text:
"Official Atlas account references Hitler’s Minister of Information (??) in regards to an offside call in the Leagues Cup (?????????)"

By Daz Go To PostAre pool still playing that absurd high-line with Van Disney back there?Yes, but also a pre-season game with Adrian in goal:
Spanish goalkeepers, man
It's not really the forty yards of empty space behind the centre backs that's the problem, it's the forty yards of empty space in front of them.
