From those 4 shots on target, only 1 was dangerous and the best chance of the game was when we hit the post on the 91st minute. This is the 11th match we played against the USWNT and the first time we didn't lose.
Had we won, it would be probably the biggest upset in World Cup history.
Anyway, incredibly proud of our girls. This was an incredible tough group with the last two World Cup finalists and we go back home while only conceding one single goal. It's a stepping stone, women's football is on the rise in Portugal and this participation will help build the future.
