Finished the dragon tears quest (got the master sword) and that was nice.
From what I can tell the rest of the side quests don’t have quite the payoff
Honestly, losing a bit of steam, have done two dungeons and those both felt very much like divine beasts but with much easier bosses. The shrines haven’t been as fun as I hoped recently, maybe I’ve just hit a bad string of shrines. Might be time to hit the other dungeons and go for the end game

Lightning temple done. I think I preferred it over the fire temple. Both have been okay though, more enjoyable than the divine beasts in BOTW, but generally very simple compared to any of the dungeons from Link’s Awakening.
I’m still fully enjoying the game. There’s not much about it I don’t like. I do wish the shrines were more involved to solve since a lot of them have been too simple. There has been some really good ones though.
Exploration feels rewarding, enjoyed most of the side quests, and I find the combat fun.

TOTK is GOATed but the dude who designed the sage avatars to work how they do is off his fecking rocker, like. Why aren't they just a weapon wheel or some shit.
Too many times I accidentally activated Tulin and it sent me flying. Or wanted to activate Sidon but he keeps teleporting or another sage gets in the way. It’s a minor nitpick in the grand scheme of things but so weird when everything else is impeccably designed.

discovered the spirit temple I guess this was suppose to be the goal of some side quests which i will now skip lol

I’m in a full blown rush to just end this lol I’ve unlocked the Fire and Water temples and when I get the sword I’m gonna finish. Shrines man … make me want to shoot myself
It’s wild but I got burnt out on shrines in Breath so I think this is the better game but will enjoy it no more than its predecessor.
People went nuts over some tweet where a dude drives a bridge across lava and that was easily one of the lamest shrines ever. It was literally one combination with the hand and done. Like it wasn’t even an interesting puzzle yet everyone went nuts in the tweet and I feel like I’m playing a different game than everyone 😂

It was a wired combination of being 100% sure what I was being asked to do and the physics fucking up enough that I couldn't do it. The wheels kept flipping the bridge and getting stuck

Gluing point are cumbersome at times

Way more interesting than “look at this thing I built that plays the game for me because I love this base game so much”
All of that due to fusion, which is the best thing they added

Did the last of the four “dungeons” today. I cannot believe how repetitive they are. Actually quite disappointed in that aspect

Finished all the dungeons and I'm messing around in Hyrule Castle now. The dungeons were whatever. They were kind of repetitive with the "open these 5 locks", but getting to them was alright. I think maybe the water and lightening were the best? Still not that great though.
I don't think I did the fire temple right. I just climbed things and didn't feel like using the minecarts lol.
I think the boss fights were great though.
