Really love figuring out ways to go from one sky island to another. This game is clicking with me more than botw.
Wild to me that what was originally a home Dungeons and Dragons game has spawned into a multi media organisation big enough that Zeldo wants to sponsor and advertise on it.
All the players are professional voice actors and very big in video game VA circles. I imagine the popularity of the campaign is what got Nintendo's attention. The DM, Matthew Mercer, voices Ganondorf in TotK.

Strapped a rocket to a green crystal and sent it across a gap between two sky islands to unlock a shrine. I’m the NASA now.
Finally got time tonight to just sit and play for a bit tonight. Good game, so far exceeds my expectations for a BOTW sequel.

I was fighting a boss at the depths and just when I was about to die, a skeleton horse barged in to save me. So one piece
A series of unfortunate events has led me to, what I'd assume is a huge secret. I kinda reverse engineered it to trace back the "trigger" 🐒 I don't wanna say more lmao maybe in a week or two, dont wanna ruin anything

^ been doable in souls forever. next.
Bought the game today. Played for about two hours. Done the first two trials. Bit confused using fuse but ultrahand is fun.

Temple spoiler
randomly found the fifth temple. Did not expect a rockem sockem battle.

I’m kinda like bro you could have beat two temples in the time it took you to make that thing 😂
The depths are cool. Messed around more there over the weekend. Feels almost like a challenge mode. About to beat second temple. So far garudo temple seems waaaaaay cooler than Rito which was basically a repeat of botw IMO
Fusion rocks. The arm is meh lol
I’m always in need of arrows lol
Fecking sick like.
It's a miracle this game isn't a glitchy ass mess with all the physics and systems working together.
Saw a game engine producer who used to be at Coalition and Sony Santa Monica just having her mind blown at that.
The first time I do something simple in Starfield like drop an item on the ground and the whole geometry of the game explodes (so probably launch day) I'm gonna remember the days of Zeldo 😂

Honestly love how all the puzzles can make you feel clever without ever being frustrating. Even when I can “see” the solution but can’t quite figure it out, I just throw stuff in the air, climb up and use reverse.

A couple of them were saying that if you wanted a game with this many systems you just have to accept that it's going to be a nightmare of bugs and performance. I wonder if the games going forward get that leeway
As is, they're the poster child of buggy AAA. I don't think they get as much of a pass (Jeff gave it a 3 on the back of perfomance issues iirc) but they shouldn't anyway if the next game comes out hot.
By Cleff Go To PostFinally made it back to Tarrey Town.I love Tarrey Town so much. Doing the quest was so rewarding. Didn't expect BoTW to just let you establish a new town lmao
I'd forgotten how good the theme music was.
Love how often I go about completely diverging from what I planned and into finding different side-quests unprompted. I dont remember having this much fun with BotW.
The infinite item glitches have gotten a lot simpler.
The diamond in my inventory is looking might tempting

I already sold my diamond. The clothing costs seem way higher in this one lol
Beating Garudo temple with only 16 arrows wasn’t fun lol

Lol if I were actually playing it right now I'd not hesitate.

Clean money. I just sold some gems to the picky Garudo lady at Goron City or something
I finally found Tarrey Town. The music is still great 6 years on. Enjoyed the little quest with Mattison too. Peak cutesy Nintendo shit right there.
Discovered each Skytower across the map now too. That and finding all the geoglyphs has been my mission for the last few days. Haven’t touched the main quest since I got the paraglider.

Completed the Rito Temple. Was pretty fun navigating the Wind Puzzles.
So far my play experience is about 90% dicking around with the physics engine. Doing the side quests mostly and the very sporadic main quests.

Almost got all towers open and am done with two temples.
I really like how they used the story to change the map yet leaving lot familiar. I haven’t made it back to ferry town yet but the great plateau was fun to run around.
Opened up more depths … once I’ve opened up the top and completed a couple more shrines (they’re getting repetitive for me again) I’m gonna spend time down there. Probably my favorite addition along with fusion.
Shit just east arrows though lkl

I am absolutely FEWMIN’
I just finished up the geoglyph quest, so spoilers ahead if that shit bothers you.
Zelda’s a whole arse dragon? And there’s a stamina point check for the master sword?! What absolute horseshit is this? I’ve been pumping shrine tokens into health expecting that I’ll need a lot of hearts to obtain the sword again, then this Aonuma cunt just sweeped my leg and laughed at me for it.

it's pretty funny seeing devs on twitter lose their mind over this game lol.
an indie dev friend of mine sends me stuff like this every day and tbh half of the time i don't get why he's so impressed.

I think the impressive part is the stability, no? At least why devs have been going crazy on Twitter from what I've seen

I’m wondering if LBP is kinda jading me here. I almost feel like the creation shit is distracting people from the fact that they’re playing Zelda and not dreams lol.
The base Zelda game is improved too but all everyone talks about is some shield with rockets and wheels or some shit. .
People get too sensitive on spoilers and so DIY conversation sidesteps that, but I imagine for a lot of people it's the first time a physics based creative mode is actually integrated into a game of this size.

Almost done with the temples, switched over to doing the glyph quest.
I never played Skyward Sword is this where they get a lot of the sky stuff from? Might have to check it out.
