Be insane if Chelsea went bust. I wonder how many backs will be broken to try and get them to survive and stay in the PL if Abramovich doesn't... well, see sense I suppose.
At this stage there isn't much in it for Abramovich to see sense, other than some unrealistic romantic notion that he "loves da club".
I can't see the government letting Chelsea go out of business, I honestly think it's the least likely scenario
The UK govt has been happy to anger far larger numbers of people over far smaller things I reckon. And let's not forget its general disdain for football / football fans.

Not love but ego. He's already pumped his money into it, if its ceases to exist so do his "achievements" there.
Anyway, liquidate Chelsea, promote Sunderland twice.
In all seriousness it would be insane for the government to let the club go under, but this is the UK so who knows.

Oh yeah if there's a club I wouldn't miss at all from the top 6/7 in England, I'd pick Chelsea.
City would be the other one but, you know, can't be having less northern teams innit.

They've already bent over backwards to allow Chelsea to continue operating under these sanctions and the sale going through was always contingent on that money not going to Abramovic. It seems like they've already done everything they can to avoid them going under but at a certain point there's only so much you can do.
How many other clubs have gone under in the last decade.
It's sad for fans, but the govt have been so lenient on this case already

By Andrew Go To PostJake Daniels (Blackpool) is incredibly brave to come out as gay.
Yeah, good for the lad. Maybe his age works for him - 17, times changing.

The fact they’ve already made this much effort to keep them up just enforces the absurdity of letting them go down anyway. Last option is they just tell Abramovich to go fuck himself, seize the assets themselves, and continue the sale process past the 31st.
Huge bravery for someone so young. Props to the lad, some dickheads are going to make things very difficult for him sadly…
Desperately need a result tonight - really hope Will's boys are on the beach, or playing golf in Saudi Arabia.
By Plasma Go To PostCedric dropped, thank fuck for that.
Like Joelinton gives a fuck.
Gundogan been a very good player for City over the years. At 31 I’d think they’d want him around another 2-3 seasons. But hey ho.
As expected, buy clause activated. Like Porro says in the video, this is his home.
Funny thing, in the backstage video I posted before, Porro is looking for someone to give his jersey to.
That girl is João Félix's girlfriend and they were caught in the club being very friendly.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostTbf all the Madrid fans did except Koko. Recon, pulga, suen, frustrated etc. All disappeared for a good 4 weeks after that game lol
I mainly find it funny because there are multiple times where Barca lost and they'd be here and post "Durr where are the Barca boys they're quiet" even though we had posts right there on the same page.
Then they all disappear after one game 😂 I'm just waiting for the convenient reasonings to come out soon.
So childish smh
how can i disappear if im barely ever around you absolute fruit basket
dunno about the others tho
i know i live #rentfree in your head but please dont twist reality to your liking
thank you

By Laboured Go To PostWould be a big loss but down to his last year and he's getting up there especially with his injury history. I was thinking City would be okay with him running his contract down and either letting him leave for free next year or renewing on a case-by-case basis but giving him the option to go this summer makes sense. This would be his last contract where he can sign for 3-4 years probably. Still a fantastic player and genuinely sad he might be leaving but there will be a lot of tough decisions this summer with contracts running down and a refresh being beneficial.

City having a bit of a clear out, I guess they'll end up signing a few players if they let go of Sterling, Gundogan and Jesus, and they need to replace Walker sooner rather than later
