By Pedja Go To PostThe Mirror reporting that we want Kanye. Just when we get rid of Matic and Mata.I am working on a joke about how Jesus is walking to Arsenal.
We finished the season with 85 points, the same number of points we got last season.
I was only occasionally looking at the match that I had playing on mute on the laptop because I had friends over to watch the Eurovision.
Read some reports and apparently the stadium was rocking. Despite not winning the league, there were multiple chants for Rúben Amorim, showing the fans are still completely behind him.
Also Palhinha got huge applauses when he was announced and when he was subbed off, it's very likely he played our last match for us.
But the biggest ovations were for Sarabia, when he was announced, on the 17th minute, when he scored and when he was subbed off.
The Spanish showed his love, pointing to the club symbol multiple times and saying in the post match interview that he was treated like family by the club and the fans were behind him since day 1, a possible return in the future is a possibility according to him.
The match also allowed for Marsà (former Barcelona B center back) to make his debut and the third goalkeeper André Paulo also got a few minutes.
Losing the league was a shame but the club is still on a solid position. We already signed a player to replace Feddal that seems to be an improvement, Marcus Edwards seems ready to take over Sarabia's spot and we have a few youngsters looking promising for next season.
Eduardo Quaresma improved in the last months of his loan to Tondela and should at least be part of the pre season, Fatawu Issahku could have a word to say on next season's squad and players like Rodrigo Ribeiro, Dário Essugo and Gonçalo Esteves will have the pre season to show what they are worth.
In terms of signings, I would say a striker would be the priority since Slimani is completely off the team, Paulinho needs another player to battle with him for the striker position besides the 17 year old Rodrigo Ribeiro, although Tabata has been playing as the more central forward for the past 2 games and scored in both.
Now the boys need their rest, it's been a long season and we will have to improve a bit next season.
We got a lot of loan players returning, a couple who could be bought out but still a few with uncertain futures.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostI’m rewatching Numb3rs and that song played during an episode and I’ve had it stuck in my head since. It's a good song, not on my top 5 of Placebo songs but still pretty good.
Placebo were probably the second band I was completely obsessed about, got to see them during the Meds tour (the album that had Infra Red) and they were great.
Now for a song from the first band I was completely obsessed about, listened to all their albums almost daily.
