De Bruyne is right. The British press had it out for Sterling for years. They did all they could to make you think he was a dickhead when really he was a pretty normal man. They were essentially racist towards him.
By rerixo Go To Post@hixx looks like the company i work for is gonna sign sunderland as a client to run ai on their ticket prices so they know how much they can gouge the fans. sorry lad
Yeah the minutes of a recent club meeting came out and the club said they were moving ahead with shit like this.
The same club that 3/4 months ago decided not only to cancel a season ticket price rise planned for this summer but instead reduce season ticket prices lmao.
edit: why the fuck do the club need to hire someone to do this though lmao. We literally run a category system and you can see attendances ebb and flow with them. Guess what: a few quid extra on a ticket means a couple thousand off the gate. Amazing.

Sterling handled all of the bs he got so well and at such a young age too
By FootbalIFan Go To PostSmh fucked up how those journalists can just continue to write absolute shit and face no consequencesWhat you got to understand is that it's all so subconscious. These people don't even know why they dislike him or care the reason why that he is buying his family shit. Imagine caring that someone from poverty bought his mom a house? The Irish know this well. If you aren't from upper or aristocracy British class you ain't shit in the UK no matter how wealthy you are.

I had almost forgotten how good and important Harvey Elliott was for us early season. With rumors that we’re looking at another CM, we must be losing more than one in that position? Sad to say Ox’s time at LFC looks about up.
By Vini.lad Go To PostOx was just a tiny bit improved Iwobi. Never rated him. It's crazy how much players that were obviously not up to quality that the club promoted. Only Saka and Smith Rowe have been the only quality prospects out of our academy in the last 15 years.
By Lunatic Go To PostIt's crazy how much players that were obviously not up to quality that the club promoted. Jenkinson, Ox, Walcott, Iwobi, Chambers, Gibbs, The Jeff (lmfao), Wellington Silva, Akpom, Almunia, Djourou, Senderos, Denilson, Bendtner, etc. I could carry on if I had better memory. Most of these players spent over 5 years at Arsenal. Pure insanity.
Some of these didnt come from our academy but were here very young.
That injury Ox got against Roma couldn't have been timed worse
From what I remember at the time knee injuries don't get much worse without shattering bone. Think both of the ligaments snapped.
Not entirely sure why he's still here, was never going to play consistently enough to get back into any kind of rhythm, and that's on the pretty optimistic assumption that he's still capable of being good enough either way.
A loan would have been best for him at some point surely if he didn't want to leave.

Pretty much. Last one was Wilshere.
I heard Pinto is also meant to be an immense talent. Really wish we had secured 4th and could give him more of a run out in the league.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostPretty much. Last one was Wilshere.Yep and Wheelchair was too injury prone and because Wenger was so against PEDs he suffered. What a waste of a talent. I don't know this kid Pinto. Is he a real prospect?

Apparently Barca were sniffing and he is very highly rated by us.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Posthttps://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1492378/Arsenal-Charlie-Patino-Barcelona-Premier-League-Mikel-Arteta-Phil-Jones/ampHe looks like a classical playmaker. Of the same vein of Pirlo but more modern like Modric. From those highlights he has the range of both when he is in space. I'm just seeing a problem with playing him and Ødegaard. Will he play just behind Ødegaard and need Partey to cover the middle in a 4-3-3. Only see a 4-1-2-1-2 working with him and that's really dated.

Northumberland is beautiful, one of the nicest places in the country for sure. And if you keep going you’ll eventually make it out of England, which has to be the goal right?
Only 30 mins from me too, the possibility of a meet up must be very strong. I mean if you’re really lucky Hixx might even come.

Yes
By Kidjr Go To PostSaka easily young player of season. Rice next.
Mount. I love Saka but Mount has 5 more assists than Saka in far fewer minutes
By Crusher Go To PostSaka easily the most overrated young English player.Well that's not true
Saka is brilliant. Would have him at United in a heartbeat. So would any of the 'big' clubs.
Still think TAA and Rice have been better this season as a potential YPotY winner tho.

Final day of the relegation battle in Portugal today.
Tondela, Moreirense and B SAD already know they are going to finish on the last 3 of the league but with the addition of the relegation playoff this year, they still have one more shot at survival.
Tondela have the easiest job as they currently stand on 16th with 27 points, a win at home against Boavista would guarantee them the playoff.
Moreirense is in 17th with 26 points, they host Vizela and to reach the playoff they need to do better than Tondela, a draw could be enough as long as Tondela losses (and B SAD doesn't win) as Moreirense has the h2h advantage over Moreirense.
B SAD have a nearly impossible task, on the last place with 25 points, they need a win away at Arouca and the other 2 to lose.
That's what is left to play for in the Portuguese League, Porto is already the champion, Sporting will join them on the Champions League, Benfica will have to go through two qualification rounds of the Champions League if they also want to be on the group stage.
Braga will be in the group stage of the Europa League as long as Tondela doesn't win the Portuguese Cup against Porto next week.
Gil Vicente will make their European debut next season on the the third round of the qualification for the Conference League, Guimarães will be on the round before as long as Tondela doesn't win the cup.
In case of a very unlikely Tondela win the Portuguese Cup, Tondela will go to the group stage of the Europa League while Braga and Gil Vicente will be in the Conference League pre rounds, Guimarães would be out of Europe.
