Ten Hag protected.
Gargantuan game tonight. Can not see us winning, would love a draw to still have a good margin.

if we get a win it'll be the stuff of legends
but we should be aiming for a draw, just play the most anti football way possible and don't let spurs get the 3 points

By Cleff Go To PostHe didn't have to do Spurs or Arsenal dirty like that.Ah screw it, #Sterlback
City supposedly want to renew his contract which I don't understand. The time to move on is now -- he's been an important player for us for awhile now and both player and team have done well on the transfer.. cash in while you can. If he won't accept a move to either of those clubs, I don't see many buyers of more renown unfortunately. I'd be happy to let him run down his contract and leave for free next summer. I think that'd suit City better than getting locked in to 5 more years.
Sterling hit double figures in the league again this season, as he has done for the past 5 seasons. Do City have some kind of allergy to people who score too many goals?
I guess he probably won't play on Saturday if we are already are putting a goodbye video. Shame injuries didn't let him play much on the second half of this season, he was really solid player for us last season, better than I expected.
Lots of love respect between the player and the club, he won the only 4 club trophies of his career here but it's better for both to move on.
Speaking of moving on, after St. Juste's signing yesterday, we should finish everything up for Morita on Saturday as Santa Clara is our final adversary for te season. Having two new players signed before the end of the season would be nice.
Trincão has been heavily rumored to be joining us on loan, Wolves aren't going to trigger the buy clause, Barcelona don't seem to be counting with him for next season and the player is apparently happy to join us as it would be a good opportunity to play with more regularity and with a manager who has worked with him before.

Do City have some kind of allergy to people who score too many goals?Like I said, I think we've done very well on his transfer and he's scored a lot of big goals -- I think he's probably in the top 10 or so scorers in City's history if I had to guess. There's a lot of talent waiting in the wings though and I think with his lack of consistency that Sterling is just nowhere near KDB's level and he wants to be paid like that which doesn't make sense for City.
Even with Jesus on the way out, City are going to have to sell either Sterling or Mahrez this summer as well and for me, I'd stick with Mahrez (which I'll admit I would not have thought I'd say before).
