Nothing. You not winning anything for 5 years is just funny, regardless.

God I hate this league. What I'd do to guarantee a win next Saturday...

If Gerrard didn’t play for Pool in the past, would he be in with a sniff of this job? He’s far too conservative and defensive.

Probably still better than Lampard though
By Fergie Go To PostDiaz is pretty influential for Liverpool. He's incredible.

Really? I’ve been watching this game with the exact opposite thought in my head regarding Villa’s play. Especially coming from the Spurs game , where they played rather deep.

Considering he replaced Dean Smith, it's a nice upgrade at least
Villa has wasted so many chances in the final third without even getting a shot off. Obviously that one was called back but they've gotta do better.
Even with 3 points (not guaranteed at all), our chances of clinching the league are 5% at most. All I want is for our players to stay fit for the two cup finals.

Decent from Ings there finally, thought Villa were gonna get in a tap in.
Ahh, nice hit by him there though but yeah, way off.

Actually think Lampard did a decent job with Chelsea

They’ve been decent tonight because Liverpool have been playing with desperation and a lack of control and that’s been exploited a little. From everything I have seen of him at Villa and Rangers, he sets his teams up conservatively. Doesn’t strike me as a natural continuation of Klopp’s work.
By Meier Go To PostWhat are you doing, Cash? That was ridiculous. What an absolute waste.
Look out for Gerrard to hug Cash as soon as the whistle goes
By Fergie Go To PostGame passes Moss by he has to guess.Seems like it. Looked like maybe a handball by VVD before but he just was too far away to even try and see it.
Roll Keita off the pitch.
By Hixx Go To Postlook out for gerrard to whip his hog out and hug it as soon as the whistle goes
on the topic of dick sizes earlier, gerrard got a tiny one no doubt. somehow smaller than owens i imagine

Gerrard has a bang average cock, you bet
You know who doesn't though? Jonathan Ross
By MF Coom Go To PostWhat the heck just happenedNo idea...
That game was far from beautiful, but we managed to scrape away with the only acceptable result. We look gassed.
For those not watching Araujo collapsed a little while after bumping heads with Gavi
Hopefully nothing worse than a concussion
Ambulance on the pitch taking him away

By n8 dogg Go To PostIf Gerrard didn’t play for Pool in the past, would he be in with a sniff of this job? He’s far too conservative and defensive.based on the article i posted the other day, stats wise he probably would. But he'd be just a name on a shortlist.
Except there isn't really anything to suggest that he is anything more than a name on a shortlist. The links with the Liverpool job just look like typical pundit speculation. I'd be shocked if Liverpool actually had him as a main candidate before Klopp renewed.
By Meier Go To PostChukwuemeka looks like a child. Surprised he's even 18.He was very impressive to me. Looks like he's got it to be something.

Really?
Early returns suggest that Stevie G's biggest managerial influences were Rafa Benitez and Boring Brendan Rodgers. I say "Boring Brendan Rodgers" because there's nothing of the 2013-14 Liverpool team – other than, literally, Philippe Coutinho – in this Villa side, but there is a lot of reaching for the "control" of all of Rodgers' other teams. And much like Benitez's Liverpool sides, Gerrard seems focused on organization behind and without the ball.
Since Gerrard took over from Dean Smith, Villa have been passing the ball forward way less often, moving the ball forward way less quickly, and pressing way less often. They're allowing more final-third passes than they're completing, and there aren't as many possessions in their matches as there were under Smith because they're both not contesting the ball or turning it over as much. It's not what you would call "fun" and it might be what you call "boring," but it's undoubtedly working.
Think there needs to be some evidence of a more progressive style. Obviously he’s at Villa and hasn’t even had a pre-season so he’s got time. Potter would be a good shout, I guess.
